London - 2nd Innings - Ich will hier Bleiben!

Learnings from this visit- the 2nd innings at London was - Use the double ducker bus and be on top front…cherish, adore and endure-----Keep maps always with you and club underground with buses but more of buses - you can click beautiful pictures, and see places around as well.

This time the stay was at Motel one. -Ich will hier Bleiben! The view from there was of Swiss Re Building or also called ‘The Gherkin’ because of its shape – is near hotel and Aldgate office

Tower Bridge- Bridge that opens in the middle to let ships through. The road across is often shut several times a day so the bridge can be raised. It took 8 years to build and was completed in 1894. This and the Tower castle were near the hotel..

On the first day visited Trafalgar Square station : Pigeons and the often seen place in movies lke Nelson’s column, surrounded by 4 Lions, National Gallery, 2 Fountains, Church called Saint Martin-in-the field.

It was nice to meet all the people and have faces to their names- but sad to see Tobias Leave.

Also got to visit South Kengsington: National History, Science museum, Victorian museumBritish Museum & British Library; Mohamed Alfaid’s: Harrods.

Shared some time at Regents Park and Canal: Which is amazing and beautiful in summer,Madam Tussauds London @ Marylebone Road, near Baker Street; Lords Stadium.

Also went to see Chelsi and Wimbledon stadium; Arsinel Stadium & Stradford for shopping mall.

Thank you Sharyn Coleman and Daniela Beer; was Off to Shakespeare's Globe to watch 'As You Like It'. It was an awesome experience watching a play at Globe Theatre – This is a replica of the building where Shakespeare’s plays were first performed. The plays are still put on each summer, and there’s a tour of the theatre all year round.

Wondering why except few, people in general here wear only black, grey, dark blue, cream or white...
