Emotional and pride filled beginning to the weekend with Neerja, Indeed there is a Neerja in every girl – strong but soft, hiding her fears, who do not like tears, but has it and holds it back. Sonam appears to have worked hard but struggles with the character; at times with a slight smile on her face; when it would have been a tension or fear; the performances by the men who play hijackers especially the guy who plays the hot-headed Khalil; is so convincing and you do feel terrorised. Good to have quality bio-pics being released off late; indeed a food for thought.
