Kid's reality shows

Had never been a fan of reality shows – though had seen a couple of them when someone we know are in it like Idea Star Singer for Varun and Munch star singer for Poornasree. Songs were fine, but off late since weekends evening, would be the time for Super Dancer, was away from it for sometime, but thought of watching the finals – seeing the cuteness of Saksham and as he reminded me of Juhi’s son Ishan.

It is amazing to see all that the kids do, in reality shows – especially dance; but is it right to make them work so hard at such a tender age? Aren’t they being exploited for Channel/show ratings? How much they have to go through, is proved by how some of the very good dancers are unable to perform in the finals like Tejas Verma and Gourav Sarwan. They had kept appreciating and promoting Gaurav’s desire to learn.

Kids achieve a good fortune for themselves and their family which they would have never, if they had led a normal life. The show earns the most – while the kids are soring from dancing so much. Believe these are sheer atrocity, Child labor in modern form. There were street dances, circuses, where kids were performing, before the advent of TV shows – Isn’t this an upgraded version of the same? Should this be promoted or banned?
