The Myth

Heart Yearns for Love & Understanding - Praying for Peace - During these trying times - Part 2

The dooms day or the end time, has been heard by almost everyone around, in various ways; some basically are:

The Srimad Bhagavatham mentions the four stages of evolution in the Universe. The cycle, which comprises these four stages, takes place every 4.1 to 8.2 billion years! the four stages are the four yugas - Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga , Dwapar Yuga and Kali Yuga. The four yugas are not just a passage of time but spell a deterioration in the moral character of humans. In Satya Yuga, virtue reigns supreme, with an average human lifespan being 100,000 years! In Treta Yuga, there is three-quarters virtue and one quarter sin, with human lifespan being 10,000 years. Dwapar Yuga is marked by one half virtue, one half sin, and human lifespan becomes 1000 years. In Kali Yuga, where we find ourselves today, there is 1 quarter virtue and 3 quarters sin.

In Kali Yuga, wealth alone will be considered the sign of a man’s good birth, proper behaviour and fine qualities. And law and justice will be applied only on the basis of one’s power. - Srimad Bhagavatam 12.2.2; As the earth thus becomes crowded with a corrupt population, whoever among any of the social classes shows himself to be the strongest will gain political power.- Srimad Bhagavatam 12.2.7 The citizens will suffer greatly from cold, wind, heat, rain and snow. They will be further tormented by quarrels, hunger, thirst, disease and severe anxiety. -Srimad Bhagavatam 12.2.10 Cities will be dominated by thieves, the Vedas will be contaminated by speculative interpretations of atheists, political leaders will virtually consume the citizens, and the so-called priests and intellectuals will be devotees of their bellies and genitals. – Srimad Bhagvatam 12.3.32 In Kali-yuga men will develop hatred for each other even over a few coins. Giving up all friendly relations, they will be ready to lose their own lives and kill even their own relatives. -Srimad Bhagavatam 12.3.41 Uncultured men will accept charity on behalf of the Lord and will earn their livelihood by making a show of austerity and wearing a mendicant’s dress. Those who know nothing about religion will mount a high seat and presume to speak on religious principles. -Srimad Bhagavatam 12.3.38 Religion, truthfulness, cleanliness, tolerance, mercy, duration of life, physical strength and memory will all diminish day by day because of the powerful influence of the age of Kali. -Srimad Bhagavatam 12.2.1 When the Age of Kali reduces to intolerable levels, Maha Vishnu will manifest himself in the form of "Kalki" and ride the celestial horse Devadutt, to kill millions of those engaged in sinful acts.

This is also seen in; Bible:

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him” (Revelation 1:1-7). In Revelation 6, the seven seals on the scroll of prophecy is given. The first four of the seven represent events beginning in the days of the apostles and leading up to the time of the end. Jesus gave the meaning of the seals in the Olivet Prophecy about the end time (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21). The first seal (Revelation 6:1-2) represents widespread deception by a false Christianity that began in the days of the apostles (Matthew 24:4-5). The second seal (Revelation 6:3-4) refers to the increasing devastation caused by war as the end approaches (Matthew 24:6-7). The third seal (Revelation 6:5-6) represents increasing hunger and famines (Matthew 24:7). Other consequences of war and famine are represented by the fourth seal (Revelation 6:7-8)—such things as disease, plagues and civil unrest that kill many people (Matthew 24:7). These four have greatly intensified over the last century and will grow even worse in the suffering mankind will have to endure nearer the end. The fifth seal (Revelation 6:9-11) brings us directly to the time of the end. It acknowledges the past persecution and martyrdom of God’s servants and announces they will have to wait “a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed,” before God avenges their deaths. Sixth sign is described in His Olivet Prophecy: “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Finally the seventh seal is opened (Revelation 8). It describes seven other aspects of end-time events, each announced with a trumpet blast. In the first four of these plagues God strikes the earth and mankind’s environmental support systems. The fifth trumpet’s plague inflicts great pain on those refusing to serve God. In the sixth trumpet plague, God permits an unimaginably destructive and all-out worldwide war to begin (Revelation 8-9). With the sounding of the seventh trumpet, the Bible reveals that “the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets” (Revelation 10:7). In Luke 21:34-36, He warned His disciples who would live during the end time: “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass
Timothy 3:1-5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
Ezekiel 36:24 “‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.

“50 Signs of the Day of Judgment from the Words of Allah and His Messenger (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam).”

the fifty, 10 are past, 13 are present and 27 are future. Primary sources are varied concerning the number of signs. Some present conditions mentioned here are:

Earthquakes will increase, Time will pass more quickly. Tribulations (fitan) will prevail. Bloodshed will increase. Trustworthiness will be lost, i.e. when authority is given to those who do not deserve it. The Muslim will conquest Rome. The Mahdi (guided one) will appear, and be the Imam of the Muslims. Jesus Christ will descend in Damascus, and pray behind the Mahdi. Jesus will break the cross and kill the swine, i.e. destroy the false christianity. The emergence of the Beast from the Earth, carrying the Staff of Moses and the Seal of Solomon, who will speak to the people, telling them they did not believe with certainty in the Divine Signs. A major war between the Muslims (including Jews and Christians who truly believe in Jesus after his return) led by the Imam Mahdi, and the Jews plus other non-Muslims led by the Antichrist. A time of great peace and serenity followed by a great decay. Wealth will come so abundant that it will become difficult to find someone to accept charity. Three major armies will sink into the earth: one in the east, one in the west, one in Arabia. There will be a huge cloud of smoke. People will start fainting. The second blowing in the Trumpet, upon which everyone will be resurrected.

From the signs , we know we are around here. It's time to be empathetic, understanding, loving, kind and Pray - Nothing else.

------------

Summed up the tips from both, and made in my own way - with limited ingredients - no sauces, ketchup's and ginger garlic paste.

First made gold coin, and with the balance remaining - made cutlets - with cheese cubes kept inside the cutlet.

Boiled potatoes, mixed together in little oil in order - cut onions, green chilli, ginger - this three mix, followed by tomatoes and carrots, smashed potatoes and soya, added little salt, turmeric, pepper powder, and a pinch of chilly powder. Cut bread into round - keeping aside the balance for cutlets.

Kept the mix inside the bread, and instead of fying or baking, applied ghee in a pan and sauted the bread - so the Gold coins were a little akin Sandwiches.

9)Vegan Maple Glazed Pumpkin Tofu Omelet: Vegan omelet? Sounds strange, but don't knock it until you try it. (via Full of Plants)

Vegan Gluten free · Makes 4 Small Omelets · Delicious tofu omelet filled with pumpkin risotto and brushed with maple syrup. A healthy and nutritious entrée, or breakfast!

19 ingredients
Produce
3 Mushrooms
1/2 cup Pumpkin puree
1 Shallot
1/2 cup Spinach, packed
1/4 Thyme
Refrigerated
14 oz Silken tofu
Condiments
2 tbsp Maple syrup
1 tsp Mustard
1 tbsp White miso
Pasta & grains
1 cup Brown rice, cooked
Baking & spices
1/3 cup Chickpea flour
2 tbsp Cornstarch
1 pinch Nutmeg and ground black pepper
2 tbsp Nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Sea salt
1/4 tsp Turmeric
Oils & vinegars
2 tbsp Vegetable oil
Liquids
1/2 cup Water

A tender and moist tofu omelet filled with pumpkin risotto, mushrooms, spinach, and brushed with maple syrup. It’s savory, sweet, and loaded with fall flavors!

The base for the omelet is silken tofu flavored with nutritional yeast, white miso, mustard, and a pinch of turmeric to get that bright yellow color. I also included chickpea flour in the batter to give it a thicker texture and make it easier to handle while cooking.

You absolutely need to use the silken kind of tofu, this recipe won’t work with firm tofu. To give the omelet an eggy taste I recommend using kala namak salt, it smells a lot like eggs and a little goes a long way.

Making the omelet batter is a no-recipe recipe. You add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. That’s all there is to it!

Preparing the pumpkin risotto is not more difficult. Shallots and mushrooms are cooked in a skillet with some thyme, then you add cooked brown rice, pumpkin purée, spices, and a bit water to make it creamier. If you prefer, you can sub the water for coconut milk for an even creamier consistency.

Then you stir in the spinach and cook until wilted. Spinach not only goes well with pumpkin, it also makes this omelet more nutritious, bringing calcium, magnesium, potassium, or basically any word ending with -ium.

Just like a regular omelet, it has a super tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture. But it’s also fragile, so here are a few tips:

1) Make sure to cook it enough, if the tofu omelet is not cooked through you won’t even be able to remove it from the skillet. The top should appear dry.

2) Carefully slip a spatula under the omelet to make sure it’s golden brown and is not sticking to the skillet.

3) Transfer the cooked omelet to a plate, THEN add the filling on one half and flip the other half. You can do this step in the skillet but it will be harder to transfer to a plate once the omelet is filled with rice. If you are making a big omelet for two people and don’t care about the presentation you can add the filling while the omelet is still in the skillet.

One more tip, for crispy edges, drizzle some oil around the omelet while it’s cooking. The edges of the omelet will caramelize and get super crispy! Do it until deep golden brown, it gives more flavor.

This omelet makes a delicious and satisfying entrée, but would be great for breakfast too! You can serve it with green beans, broccoli, Easy Caramelized Zucchini, or this Refreshing Marinated Tempeh Salad for even more protein! This recipe is the comfort food, subtly sweet, full of pumpkin flavor, and nutritious.

In a 100-gram amount, raw pumpkin provides 110 kilojoules (26 kilocalories) of food energy and is an excellent source (20% or more the Daily Value, DV) of provitamin A beta-carotene and vitamin A (53% DV) (table). Vitamin C is present in moderate content (11% DV), but no other nutrients are in significant amounts (less than 10% DV, table). Pumpkin is 92% water, 6.5% carbohydrate, 0.1% fat and 1% protein

--------------
Pumpkin Leaves:

Pumpkin leaves, are eaten as a vegetable. We also prepare saag and kachri/pakoda of the leaves and flowers.

Pumpkin seeds are a popular snack that can be found hulled or semi-hulled at most grocery stores. Even oils are made of it.

Skin of pumkin is washed and mixed with rice flour paste with a little of salt, pepper/chillie and dried. This is fried and had with rice as well.

English Movie Times - Contagion & Mrs Doubtfire

Contagion

Every other person, we talk to ask " Have you Watched the movie Contagion" ; most messages that we receive have a mention of this. So thought why not see it. The movies 'GENRES' said Suspense/Thriller, Drama; but today it's a reality. Aiken to the current situation, this movie is about how Healthcare professionals, government officials and everyday people find themselves in the midst of a pandemic as the CDC works to find a cure. It seems Medical experts worked on Contagion to make sure it was scientifically accurate. The movie shows us how to prepare Social distancing, isolation and quarantine are all not new terms if you’re familiar with Contagion. Scientists predicted the reality of a deadly pandemic While working on the film, scientific advisors were certain that a pandemic like the one that played out in Contagion could become a huge reality. After all, the film is based on the outbreak of SARs in 2002 and Swine Flu in 2009. Professor Ian Lipkin designed every detail of Steven Soderbergh's fictional virus. And he's sorry it's so accurate. At Columbia University in New York, W Ian Lipkin is a professor of epidemiology, neurology and pathology. The first is, roughly, the study of how diseases move; the last, their causes and effects.

The 2011 film "Contagion" directed by Steven Soderbergh, opens to the sound of a woman heavy coughing and full of mucous. Returning from a business trip in Hong Kong, Beth Emhoff has a layover in Chicago and meets a former lover for sex. Two days later, in her family home in suburban Minneapolis, she collapses with seizures. Her husband, Mitch Emhoff, rushes her to the hospital, but she dies of an unknown cause. Mitch returns home and finds that his stepson Clark has died from a similar disease. Mitch is put in isolation but is found to be immune; he is released and returns home to his teenage daughter Jory. The death of Beth Emhoff and her son leads to the discovery of a deadly virus. While the US Centers for Disease Control struggles to curb its spread, a worldwide panic ensues. As the fast-moving epidemic grows, the worldwide medical community races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus itself. At the same time, ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart. Cast included Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard and nominees Jude Law and Laurence Fishburne portray the dedicated doctors at the CDC and World Health Organization who rush to contain the outbreak of a new virus.

The movie points to the many dedicated health professionals who put everything on the line to try to protect us. Humanity’s propensity for compassion and self-sacrifice is heralded over and over. The invisible world of germ is far from controllable. A single handshake or just by simply touching anything around you can send you spiraling down to the verge of your extinction. Until of course a vaccine is developed.

Mrs Doubtfire

Had not seen this before, and felt an admiration for Mrs. Doubtfire, when this movie was being played in Romedy now; that is when HD said, AvaiShanmugi was a remake of this. Only then did it strike, that Mrs. Doubtfire was a male. A 1993 American comedy-drama film directed by Chris Columbus. It was written for the screen by Randi Mayem Singer and Leslie Dixon, based on the novel Alias Madame Doubtfire by Anne Fine. Directed by Chris Colombus, Daniel, a divorced actor, disguises himself as Mrs Doubtfire, an ageing female Scottish housekeeper, in order to work in his ex-wife's house and spend more time with his three children all of them love her(him). Apart from humour and brilliant performance by Robin williams, this is a thought provoking movie for young parents who set their values in different order where children unfortunately do not find place in the top slot. Career and money are necessary evils ; but not at the cost of one's young children. A good watch for people of all ages. You can watch it anytime!

After you remove the skin from fridge ..grate the white part ...Measure the grated part approximately....This has water in it..Steam (Wafaun ghene)🤭it with the same water ...
I do the steaming in pressure cooker ...Again let the water in the grated melon dry a bit ...if the grated part is 2 cups..You need may be 2 to 3 spoons ..Sugar ...And a little milk and 1 2 spoons of fresh cream...Or Saay(साय)
Again cook with the milk till dry ..Then put sugar ...Again cook and let it dry. Halwa ready. Melon is a juicy fruit ...When u cut the red part of it the white part of it becomes soft gradually ....And grating becomes difficult...When refrigerated ...The white/green part becomes harder ..Which is easy to grate and kiss {marathi wala} jast nighto
