Though thought this would be the time, I can finish off the pending books on my shelf, time even here had other plans; so ended up: Remote connection with team, reconnect with nature, reminisce the past, rejuvenating self.
Working from home, brought with it benefits as well as the unique issues not only for self, but for the team as well - resolving it became a priority. Extended family and friend with social distancing and unable to meet own friend and family - Nature, birds and animals took over their space. The vacation was a sneak peak into past. It helped update and clean up the blog a bit as well. Finally with all these, the little time I used to spend on myself was also lost. Reading did happen, but at a slower pace; with the heat, exercising was next to impossible, but did give a little brush up to cooking. Cleaning by default had to be done, realizing smaller the house the better.
Lessons of Life : and it took a virus that threatens our existence to remind us. That beauty lies in simplicity .
When someone says we can accomplish something but we must pay a price, do not rush to applaud. One day you may become the price that is paid. "When the stick hits my own head, I finally understand the pain — and why some others once cried out of pain."
"We human beings are all unique bound by a common thread of humanity. Irrespective of whoever, where ever, whatever we are. We do design for high-value housing and provide in the slums the residue. We should be ashamed because we have the image we want to project of ourselves and there’s a part we want to hide. We are offended when people criticise it, but we have social responsibilities as architects and builders. The corona issue is a wake-up call of what beholds us. What our concern is that it turns around and bites us,” - Ratan Tata
