Thanks a lot for creating the 21-day confidence booster challenge for us.
Own your nervousness, mistakes and failures. Confidence is a muscle, that we need to build. Start first and build as you go. confidence follow success. Be comfortable with self.
My biggest takeaway - We need to break the voices that always criticize us and stop us from achieving our goals. Courage & Self-esteem leads to confidence.
Challenge 1: Stop criticising self - it reduces our confidence. (Up until now - was until yesterday)
Challenge 2: Take 100% responsibility of your life. Make decisions for your life. Own your life. Gut and intuition start getting stronger. Take charge of your life, Be in control and Trust yourself. Whatever you commit to, get it done. Respect and Trust self.
Challenge 3: Mindset that we need to carry - Faith that all in life is happening in your favour. For the great good has to go. Truly Build your faith. Start believing in your life.
Challenge 4: There are people who inspire us, and those who expire us. Choose the kind of energy we allow in our surroundings.
Challenge 5: Be clear on where your emotions flow. Go deep with positivity, and keep negativity at superficial thing. Say 5 things about positive things and 1 sentence about negative things. Angry people are angry with every body, patterns created in our life because of mindset. We have deep and shallow emotions and yes so true that we all focus our energies on shallow emotions. Stop letting our mind keep going to negative emotions.
Challenge 6: Connect with your pleasure. Bragging, Gratitude and Priorities desires are important. Important to give yourself important and say things you like about self. Priorities self, and don't let others mistreat us. Okay to give to yourself before you give to others. Get time to rest to create happy hormones. Nurture who you are. Give yourself time to breath. Sit with yourself and enjoy your own company. You deserve far more than what you think is your worth.
Challenge 7: Overcome Resistance - Opposite of Confidence - enemy. Change brings resistance. It covers doubt, fear, overwhelm, rationalisation, perfectionism, being control freak and many more. Be willing to let go, and Refill. Best book - Who moved my cheese?
Challenge 8: Drop your desperation around desire - when you get it, will be decided by God. Farmer can put seed in the farm, he cannot make it sprout. Don't be desperate around your desires. Waiting and waiting for is different. Desire is not bad, but desperation is bad. Pray and let the divine do it's work. We are cocreating. Give time for others to respond.
Challenge 9: Hour of Power - Every morning design your day. Life is all about expectation. It is all about the intention you set. Do it day in and day out.
Challenge 10: Connection - The real purpose and meaning of life is to be able to connect with all - self and others. You have to be honest, and honesty need courage, to be okay with your imperfections. Let your energy flow. World is divided into two kind of people - one who think they are worthy and the others who do not know their worth of feel they are worthy. When your everything is removed from your life, you should be able to love your soul. What you see is the quality you have nourished until now. Try leaving what you are depended on. Be uncomfortable. When we are seen we make connections, and when we have connections we feel worthy, and when we feel worthy we feel confident. Stop Judging yourself and others, own yourself. Get out of the raise, for the need of approval.
Challenge 11: Consistency - Follow routine - 1) Know your why, and you will be able to do what you want to. Give it your 110% 2) Publicly announce what you want to do. 3) Create tiny habits, start small. Don't make too many commitments. We have to build muscles. Things will become automatic. 4) Chain connectors - Connect old habit to new habit (You are awesome, you are going to have a great day, all love you) 5) Celebrate small victory - Joy attract Joy. Live at 80% level you cant be 100% all the time 6) Build Habits - Now. (Change the environment - keep things where you can see). Where you are do not matter, who you become is. Be the person who do what you say.
Challenge 12: Gratitude - Most Profound thing. Highest emotion to live in. When you are in this place, you cannot be in any other place. You can be happy but negative. But when you are grateful you cannot be negative. Can do in many forms, make sure you make use of the essence of the emotions, go as deep as you can, feel the feeling, - Journal - 5 things from previous day, app, rock, start and end your day with gratitude. Complement to all, break pattern, forgive people, become amazing, break our ego.
Challenge 13: Forgiveness - The first function of our mind is to protect us, there is danger everywhere, survival is important. 2nd job of mind is to give meaning to what happens. 3rd is to prove us right. Take your story, and give them a twist - when we do not know the meaning. Say things that help us settle. 'Hurt people hurt people'. In the road of life, it doesn't matter whose mistake it is. Speak and spread Love and Joy. It is your life, you need to own it. Say -'I am not going to give power to anyone, that I am consumed by them.' Let it go. How? 1) Start looking at people's intention - if their intention is not wrong, they are like children, we are matured, so forgive them. 2) If some are intentionally hurting, you have choice. Can you live without having the mask of being victim, of having to go through torture. True decision is deciding, do I want to change the story. (Hoponoppo, The work, Byrine Katis method)
Challenge 14: Forgiveness - Part 2 - You know the kind of commitment to change, you fail at some and succeed at some, if change in use to tough, how can we expect others to change who are not interested in changing? ; Stop being hurt, and people will stop hurting you. It is about how much power you are giving them. It is the emotional charge we want to reduce. Have fun with this, be nice to people who are mean to you. Because you are a nice person. Others will be surprised. Sweetest revenge is with your success. Harder you find forgiving, it is you have not forgiven yourself. Let go of your regrets.
Challenge 15: Anger - It is a reflex action and is not a decision like forgiveness. It comes from within, a sit surfaces you do not have control over it. Feeling of anger is a feeling of protection. Honor anger. How do we express it? 1) Lose our selves to anger or 2) Use the anger to inform people that you are not okay with what is happening. You can go and say, this is making me angry in a complete calm way, and not just shout at the other. Helplessness creates anger. Respect before anger. Others get defensive when other is angry. When our emotions are overdriven, our intelligence shut. So when you are upset or angry, you will not remember to respect or walk away. Train your mind. Keep saying 'Respect before anger' 'Walk away before shouting.' Know the situations that are not in your control. Under anger, there is always some sort of fear. Below fear, there is hurt. The more you can discet your anger into fear and hurt, and then try to control and master it, it will help. Challenge for the week is divert your anger. Acceptance is the best way out. Become a solution around the problems. Show the world how good we are. 1) Take 10 deep breath 2) Change the topic 3) walk away
Challenge 16: Parenting - Honor the mother in us. We are good enough, own that we can do the best for our children. Let us not judge this aspect. Strict or linent, or shouting, pure intention matter. Have faith that the children will turn out to be beautiful. Connect how we are as a person, to the mother we are. 1) Our Self-Esteem, will be reflected. If in the process of making your child fulfil your expectation, the child's soul is being broken, please do not do that. Don't put pressure or expectation on the Child. 2) As much as possible, let your child make their own decision. Honor the soul in them. There is so much good in failing at young age. So it's good to make them play sports. 3) Be interested in what your Child is interested in. Don't make quality time of lecturing, do what they like to do. 4) Pure basic kindness. Believe in them, give them trust, give them confidence, do not compare. 5) Zero Criticism rule. - If it is something that you cannot say in front of a person, do not say it behind their back. Gossip feels like fun, but it is not. 6) Commitment and Consistency - If you say it, you have to do it. Children are good at reminding the promises. Let's build trust. Have a commitment jar. 7) Delayed gratification. Teach them how to earn the things they want. Let go of tantrums - it's bribing. Certain amount of consistent habit building they will learn. Discipline, responsibility, kindness, 8) 'I am proud of you' tab is more important than 'I love you'. 9) Be nice to the children, and let them be great human being.
Challenge 17: Relationships - Love Language - for parents, spouse, children and all around : Every human being have a language of love. They appreciate to get the love in that language. The 5 are 1) Gift, 2)Act of service, 3)words of appreciation, 4) physical touch, 5) quality time. The love language we have is how we show love. - It is the one that we fight for.
Challenge 18: Career/Creative Happiness - What gives you joy? Integral link with beauty. Florence - Video 'Magnificent' - Importance of beauty. God put a part of beauty in each of us. We clean up area around us. Some have explored us, some have not. Beauty of each lie in different place. We need to explore it. The more you learn your creative happiness, more connected you will be with your soul. It is beautiful to be around beauty. Money is the fuel, you need to put in your car for the car to move. Every women should be financially independence. Missionary of Charity, can run only if they take money. Be comfortable around money. Who inspires you? Start to build something that will create value to the world, or you will be a negative person, as you are not in the flow. Miracles start to happen when you are in the flow. When what you are thinking is what the world is answering, you are in flow. You are connected to universal energy. Your consciousness and vibration are in sync. Explore, keep learning. Create your own life, to have freedom and independence to live the souls journey. When someone does something wrong, they are put in jail. That is taking away the freedom. Working women give 100% of time to others.
Challenge 19 : Affirmation & Visualisation - Don't get stuck in the education system - taking gyan, but not doing anything. Apply basic things. Affirmations are mantras - Any type of mediation, that silences your mind, that is repeated. 'I have an amazing enjoyable life, because I am an amazing wife.' There are things that brain gives importance and some that brain do not. Somethings go through the filter, like your name, 'I am....', your subconscious works towards making it true. It should be in present tense, '..ing' words. Be specific, don't be general. Every morning in your hour of power, read your affirmations in your hour of power. Morning and Night. Emotion is the key in affirmation, as essence is on gratitude. Visualise your affirmations for it to come true.
Challenge 20: Be an explorer than a committer. When you weaken have a strategy in place in advance. Create an 80% rule. Life shows up. Important to take breathers, let it be part of the rule. What is your strategy when life is getting tough when you are travelling. Restarting make us waste so much time, and it needs lot of courage. Have a BHAG. Use your intelligence around your goal.
Challenge 21: As we go forward in life, only religion you follow should be kindness. We have lost our compassion. We need to be compassionate again. Be kind to self first and all others. Don't criticise. We do not know what people in life are going through. Choosing kindness will always pay back.
