The Limits to Growth

 What is the LTG Report?

"The Limits to Growth" (LTG) is a pioneering environmental study published in 1972 by Donella Meadows, Dennis Meadows, Jรธrgen Randers, and William Behrens for the Club of Rome. It used computer modeling (World3 system) to simulate the long-term consequences of exponential economic and population growth with finite resource supplies.



Key Concepts from LTG

Finite Resources: The Earth has limits—food, minerals, water, and energy are not unlimited.


Exponential Growth: Human consumption and population have grown exponentially, putting pressure on natural systems.


Overshoot and Collapse: If growth continues unchecked, the system overshoots resource limits and may collapse.

Bharathya Basha Pustak Scheme. The Bharatiya Bhasha Pustak Scheme is a Government of India initiative, introduced in the Union Budget 2025–26 by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman . The scheme is implemented under the Ministry of Education, in alignment with NEP 2020, and coordinated through bodies like the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti (a committee within the Ministry) 

The scheme is brought out by the central government, spearheaded by the Ministry of Education, with key implementation roles taken on by the UGC and Bharatiya Bhasha Samiti.

Time for collaboration. For easier transformation. You should be able to take courses from anywhere.

Good student should have 3 things:

  1. Have fire in your belly, not just for a job. Be in a place where you are happy. Freedom should not have price tags. 
  2. You should be able to go to bed, thinking about the problems you have solved during the day.
  3. Catch hold of an youngster and excite them about your results. You should be able to drive others with your excitements
Be passionate about what you do.

Have your country above any other. Have a desire that our country should be the best. Example Growth of Japan comes from Passion. 

Focus on your studies. Get as many credits as possible. 

5 year plans. - Plan change adoption. 

Whatever you do, be the best in that. 

Let children do what they want and be the best in that. 

Parents should not force children to do what they want. 

Flexibility and freedom are important. 

We need to provide all facilities to our students for their growth. Provide opportunity for innovation.

What is the quality of a good teacher? - Being a student always. 

When you are in a class, looking at students face you get to know if you are a good teacher or not. 

It is easy to complain and put the ball in another's court and complain.
