Dear Me
Dear Me…..
Hearty
Congratulations, for having come so far. Keep going. Always remember:
“Health is the first of life,
Wealth is the next of life,
Characters Courage is the best of life,
Respect is must in life,
Turning is the test of life,
God's blessing is the crest of life,
Love is crucial for life,
Happiness is the perfume of life,
Truth is the search of life,
Death is the rest of life...”
Balance is
the key to life. Maintain a balance in all that you think, say, and do. Be
Mindful. Finding a balance within, will create a balance in all areas of your
life. Take care of your physical, mental, and emotional health. Eat right, exercise well, have sound sleep.
If you do not have good health, you do not have anything in life. Health gives
you the energy to achieve anything in life.
When you
start earning, and can provide for yourself, you become financially
independent, but if you are able to not work, and let money work for you, you
become financially free. Earn financial freedom in life as soon as possible. It
is not only important to be independent, but more important to be free. Learn
the trick of the trade.
“Know your
chore values and live by it. Courage is the first of human qualities, because
it is the quality which guarantees all others.” ~ Winston Churchill. If God
brings you to it, he will bring you through it. If it is to be, it is up to
us. This too will pass away. This moment
is inevitable. Live in the here and now. Be true, pure, strong, brave, friend
to all, giving, humble and look up for there are those who trust you, those who
care, there is much to suffer, much to dare, there are the poor and friendless,
forget the gift, know you weakness. Live, Love, Lead, Learn and Leave a Legacy.
Let this world be a better place, for you having had the opportunity to live
here. Do the best you can. We are good, smart and we belong. You can lead too.
Believe in yourself and in the strength, you have to shape your destiny, for
nothing is impossible for a willing heart. “Grandeur of character is moral
principle in practice.” ~ Grenville Kleiser.
Respect is
a must in life. Courtesy is the foundation of every relationship. With self and
with others – both tangible and intangible. There is so much of good in the
worst of us and so much of bad in the best of us that it ill behoves any of us,
to find fault with the rest of us. Each one is going through a battle; we know
nothing about. Don’t blame, complain, or gossip. Have a kind heart. Respect
self, others and the nature, and the results will follow.
Only thing
constant here is change. How well you can cope with it is what matters. No two
moment would be the same. You change, people in your life change, surrounding
change, situations change. Adapt and adopt. Turning is the test of life. Pass
each of them and move on to the next as soon as possible. There is no blueprint
for all situations. Each of them would be unique. That is what would make life
beautiful. Here you will have exams first and learnings/teachings will come
later.
Remember
what your dad always used to say? “All for himself and God for all. Time and
Tide waits for no man.” Being religious or not, is an individual choice. All
roads lead to the same destination. Once born we all die. But it is good to
have a faith to hold on, to give you strength, and uplift you when needed. The
belief in what you do not know, so that you can come to know what you believe
in is your faith. It is the playing ground of impression developed from birth.
Like every other thing, your environment, education and energy moulds it.
‘It is not
the years in your life, but the life in your years that count.’ Life is very
short. Spend it with gratitude, love and being positive. Let love be your
guiding light, and may you light the world with your love. May you shine. Love
is the solution for most problems in the world. Nobody is born a terrorist,
they become one deprived of love.
With love
as the guiding light, spread happiness, everytime, everywhere! May the world be
always happy. When you drop the habit of judging others from your head to
heart, you will not only be in a state of happiness but will be able to live in
constant state of joy. May your joy lead you to blissful living.
Life by
itself has no meaning, it is a platform to create your own meaning. Life is a
paradox. Many people have spend wondering about it – Philosophers, spiritual
leaders, scientist – It is like the chicken and egg paradox, and not a riddle.
You can keep debating what came first, chicken or the egg. Keep taking the next
step, keep progressing, keep creating, keep contributing and keep experiencing.
Learn from
the mistake of others, you cannot live long enough to learn everything from
your own life. Everything in life comes with an expiry date, including you and
me. We have only one life that we know, and here only one thing is certain, we
all die. Life is short. You live your life. Remember where you came from, and
you will never be lost. Let the world say whatever they want, stick to your
convictions and the rest is assured…
Be Good to
self and to all. Live the ‘AND’ life. You cannot have it all at the same time,
but you can have it all.
Best wishes
for all your future endeavours,
Peace &
Happiness Humesha,
With Warm
Wishes & Lots of Love,
U No Hu I.

DISC Test
https://www.tonyrobbins.com/disc/
"If there is a rare opportunity in life, it's self-awareness. Self-awareness of the difference between you and your patterns and the impact of your patterns on those around you."
- Tony Robbins -
Learn how to communicate better and achieve your goals:
DISCOVER WHAT DRIVES YOU WITH A DISC TEST
Self-awareness is essential to success. If you don't understand what drives your actions and behaviors, it's difficult to cultivate positive growth. As you discover what inspires you, you’ll identify what may hold you back from success, as well as the traits, habits and behaviors that propel you forward. When you take the DISC assessment, you will learn how to leverage the various aspects of your personality for a life of achievement that aligns with your personal values. Who is an ideal candidate for the DISC test? The DISC personality test is for anyone who wants to gain insight into themselves. It increases self-knowledge and can uncover limiting beliefs that hold you back from achieving your goals. It can also help you develop strategies to create a breakthrough in any area of your life. In most cases, a DISC assessment is used in a team-based setting. Identifying the communication needs of the individuals on a team facilitates better conflict resolution and overall stronger cohesiveness. These assessments are also useful in a sales environment, training members of a sales team to recognize and respond to the unique styles of their prospects or customers.
WHAT IS A DISC ASSESSMENT?
More than two million people have taken the 15-minute DISC assessment to better understand their personality type and behavioral style. Developed by psychologist William Moulton Marston, the DISC assessment examines how an individual ranks in the four areas of behavior – Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness. Designed for both individuals who want to identify and maximize their strengths and motivators, and organizations looking to integrate high-performance teams, this $250 DISC profile is yours free of charge. DISC stands for “Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Conscientiousness,” which are the four primary personality traits the test measures. Everyone has these four characteristics, but the strength of each varies depending on the person. The assessment can provide a common language that people can use to understand themselves and others. For example, you may score highly in dominance and influence while your colleague ranks in steadiness and conscientiousness. This can lead to misunderstandings and conflict if you and your colleague don’t attempt to understand what makes you different and how to best communicate with each other. None of the DISC personality traits are inherently positive or negative. The test and results are non-judgmental and help those who take it respond to conflict, resolve problems and discover what lies behind their common habits or working styles.

6 Human Needs - SF Walker
Everyone experiences the same six human needs, however we all find different ways of satisfying these needs.
They can be met in ways that are positive and constructive or negative and destructive.
Six Human Needs Test (sfwalker.com)
What do they mean?
First three are the needs of the BODY. Adding LOVE, makes the first four, needs of the PERSONALITY and these four are essential to human survival.
Everyone must feel they have met these human needs on some level, even if that means being dishonest with one self in order to do satisfy the need. The last two are essential to human fulfillment and they are the needs of the SPIRIT.
Not everyone finds a way to satisfy last two even though they are necessary for lasting fulfillment. When our needs for contribution, growth and love are satisfied, they tend to encompass all our other needs.
Why are six human needs so important to understand?
It is important to understand they are not goals nor merely desires, but profound needs that underlie and motivate every choice, every belief and every decision we make.
Because they are the driving force behind any person’s behavior, understanding the needs and the vehicles used to meet them, we will have a better understanding of why life is the way it is currently and more importantly, how to facilitate change.
There is a test to be taken in the link to understand this:
Focus, meaning and physiology are essential to understanding individual motivation, as there are four stages to spiritual or moral development:
1. the need to dominate and control
2. the need to be loved
3. the need to love and protect others
4. the need to repent and to forgive
FIND OUT NOW
If you really connect with the statement and it truly describes you and how you feel, please choose YES.
If the statement partly describes how you are, its not a 100% yes, but its neither a complete no, please choose PARTLY.
If the statement makes you feel this is probably not how I am, please choose NO.
There is a total of 6 sections and the test will take 5-10 minutes to complete. Don’t overthink it and remember to HAVE FUN!
Write down what you think your need is before taking the test and than see what happens after you take it.

Frozen Thought...
There was this wise old man who answers to all life-related questions. He was an enlightened person. A boy, in his adolescent years, wanted to test the wise old man. He caught hold of a little bird. Holding it in the palm of his hands, and with his hands hidden inside his coat, he asked the wise old man, “ I have a bird with me. Is it alive or dead?” The old man smiled and said, “If I tell you, the bird is alive, you will crush the bird and show me a dead one. If I tell you, the bird is dead, you will release the bird and show me it’s alive.
Embarrassed, the boy dropped his head and began to walk away. He would have hardly walked a few steps. He heard the voice of the old man, “ Mind you my son, in fact, this is the philosophy of life – your life and your death are in your own hands.”
In spite of the canvas, despite the paints and the brushes involved, the quality of a painting is the responsibility of a painter. Similarly, the quality of a sculpture is the responsibility of a sculptor. If so, then the quality of your life is your responsibility, and yours alone. Your life and your death are in your own hands. No blame is allowed.
If I ask you to carry a 12-Kg single granite stone and walk a kilometre, you would struggle with it. Now, I ask you to carry your child who is 12-Kgs for the same one kilometre and you will happily do it. Anything in life that is perceived as Kashtam Kashtam will only appear to be even more difficult. Do the same thing perceiving it as Ishtam Ishtam, the most complex of tasks can be done with effortless ease. Stop viewing responsibilities as a burden and start seeing them as opportunities. Stop saying Kashtam Kashtam to responsibilities and step forward to take responsibilities saying Ishtam Ishtam.
I will assume....don’t wait for others to offer your responsibilities. You take the initiative. You Volunteer. You step forward. Announce your presence.
I will assume unconditional...what is not unconditional never gets done. There is no point in keeping the ‘exit’ door open all the time. Burn the bridges. Conditions are required only to pass on the blame, in case there is a failure. Don’t even consider failure as an option. Where conditions succeed, responsibilities fail. Where responsibilities succeed, conditions are redundant. Just take it and do it.
I will assume unconditional responsibility. The Lord may have borne the corss of your sins, but even he will not bear the cross of your growth. The cross of your growth is your responsibility, and yours alone. You alone must carry it.
Only when you feel responsible for your life, you can respond with ability. Else, it will be responding with disability. Put your hands up and be counted.
It is the eternal law of life- the law of impermanence – anything that begins will end. If it had a beginning, then it will have an end.
Did the day begin? Yes! Then the day will end. Did the year begin? Yes! Then the year will end. Did your relationship begin? Yes! Then it will end – either by parting with each other when life is still on, or through the death of one. We all have come into this planet with confirmed return ticket. The date is the only unknown factor to us.
Success is failure delayed. Failure is success delayed. Good times will be followed by recession and recession will be followed by great times. Every beginning will end and every end will result in a new beginning.
This isn’t a pessimistic view of life. It is the other way around. Because we know there is death, let us make the most of life. Because we know the day will end, let us make the day count. Because we know the year will end, let us do something significant to do it memorable. Because we know our tough times too will end, let us endure it with strength and courage. Because we know the best of times too will end, let us be humble even in our success. Because we know every relationship will eventually end, let us give ourselves completely and unconditionally to our loved ones.

Above all, because we know even we will end, let us live such a life that we leave a legacy.

Prayer

Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.
Everybody today seems to be in such a terrible rush, anxious for greater development and greater riches and so on, so that children have very little time for their parents. Parents have very little time for each other, and at home begin the disruption of peace of the world.
Little things are indeed little, but to be faithful in those little things is a great thing.
A sacrifice to be real must cost, must hurt, must empty ourselves. The fruit of silence is prayer, the fruit of prayer is faith, the fruit of faith is love, the fruit of love is service, and the fruit of service is peace.
Make us worthy lord to serve those people throughout the world who live and die in poverty and hunger. Help me, help them come out of it and give them through our hands this day their daily bread and by our understanding love, give them peace and joy.
And as I type this, Neil is born...

A miracle happens!

Miracles still happen and will happen…never loose sight of your signs…
We all need to be aware of our personal calling.
Omens, the language in which God talks to you. Strange but true. Learning a language is not an easy thing for everybody. This silent voice leads us to places.
At times some boost of their skills, abilities, acts. Would all that be possible if it was not destined?
Do not give up hope. There’s always a chance.

Some miracles have nothing to do with angels.
People would say that these are luck but has it got anything to do with luck! Can we say that it is God hearing our prayers! A miracle happens!
We cannot know anything for sure. Everything that we see, everything, that is in front of us, is only the visible part of reality. There are some questions in our life, about which we dont know, and it is a fact that we can't have answers for everything~
What is a Miracle? Is it something for which we have no answer, or something, for which we do not know the answer, or something else?

Energy

Most of the pages in todays Hindu had Rajiv Gandhis photo. As I wondered why, I realised today was his birthday. (20.08.1944-21.05.1991). Indeed, he has left a mark behind. Destined! Will of God?
Ad in todays Hindu, by the Ministry of petoleum and Natural Gas, Govt. of India...
'Energy is the key to the growth and development of any nation'
...upgrading ourselves in everyway and securing energy is the future of the nation....
Conserve energy for a bright future:
• Drive at optimum speed of 45-55 km/hr
• Maintain correct tyre pressure
• Switch off engine at traffic signals
• Light your stove only after you have kept all the ingridents within your reach and is ready to cook.
• Pressure cooking saves fuel and time.
• Use optimum quantity of water while cooking.
• Use higher efficency 'ISI'marked LPG stove.
There can be one criterian for measuring the development, how much high technology is used in the life of common man..Well this is external.
Look out for positive, spread positive, thoughts, energy..
Positive thoughts, positive feelings attract positive energy, and brings joy..
Negative thoughts, negative feelings attract negative energy, and brings sorrow..
That is what the Law of attraction also says...
Never discourage anyone who continually makes progress, no matter how slow..Never tell a person he is wrong...

ICAI Logo..

Having been together just for two years, soon after our tenth, we My friend Geetha and myself, had made some decisions, which determined our destiny....
Since then, we had always been seeing this logo of the institute:
The logo of an organization packs in both heritage and brand DNA.
Nestle’s ’small nest’ bird family has stood for baby food, milk and milk products for the past nearly 100 years.
Chennai-based chartered accountant CS Shastri, a devotee of Sri Aurobindo and a Council member of the ICAI, sought his advice on a symbol that would capture the spirit and intent of the newly formed organization. According to Prasanta Mukherjee, who wrote about the history of the organisation’s emblem in `The Chartered Accountant’ “Sri Aurobindo gave CS Shastri the emblem with a Garuda in the center and a quotation from the Kathopanishad: Ya esa suptesu jagarti, One who is awake amongst those who are asleep.” This logo was finally selected amongst all the suggestions which were received.
The choice of Garuda as a mascot was an interesting one. The Garuda packs in strong symbolism as the Vahana of Lord Vishnu. He flies faster than thought and destroys the Nagas and Serpents. Sri Krishna, in the Gita, in the verse 10.30 says:
“Vainateyashcha Pakshinam” (I am Garuda, the son of Vinata, among the birds.)
The connection between Garuda and the Nagas is crucial to the philosophy of the logo for the newly founded organization. As Sri Aurobindo once described the connection between Garuda and Nagas thus, “….the winged Garuda revered to be the upbearer of divinity, who opens his vans to the sunlight and soars to the highest seat of Vishnu,” is also the eternal destroyer of the Nagas and “the Naga is the symbol of the mysterious earth-bound force in man.” The emblem was placed and adopted at the first meeting of the Council of the Institute in New Delhi on August 15, 1949

From an Indian perspective, Garuda is the Hindu name for the constellation Aquila and the Brahminy kite is considered to be the contemporary representation of Garuda.
Garuda is depicted as having the golden body of a strong man with a white face, red wings, and an eagle's beak and with a crown on his head. This ancient deity was said to be massive, large enough to block out the sun.
Other nations adopt a more stylistic approach to the Garuda's depiction, where it depicts an eagle (being much larger than a kite)
The eagle is the symbol for quiet power and scope. We must open our lenses, like the eagle, to see the forest and the trees, and to spot opportunities to create synergy by joining individual parts of our lives to make a greater, more dynamic whole person-a person who understands the meaning of team and time.
Team work, is like running a relay race. What is needed is supporting each other achieve our collective deadlines. Work together under difficult circumstances to ensure we have collective success.
Whatever we do, we must remember our aim at every moment. If you dream to fly with eagles, don't waste time in swimming with the ducks...
