When the Body Says No ~ Gabor Mate (12 of 24)

1. The Bermuda Triangle

“When we have been prevented from learning how to say no, our bodies may end up saying it for us.”

Psychoneuroimmunology, science of the interactions of mind and body, the indissoluble unity of emotions and physiology in human development and throughout life in health and illness. This disciple studies the ways that the psyche - the mind and its content of emotions - profoundly interacts with the body's nervous system and how both of them in turn,  form an essential link with our immune defences. Some call psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology to indicate that the endocrine, or hormonal apparatus is also a part of our system of whole-body response. These function down to the cellular level.

Many of us live, if not alone, then in emotionally inadequate relationships that do not recognize or honour our deepest needs. Isolation and stress affect many who may believe their lives are quite satisfactory.

Stress can transmute into illness. Stress is a complicated cascade of physical and biochemical responses to powerful emotional stimuli. Psychologically, emotions are themselves electrical, chemical and hormonal discharges of the human nervous system. Emotions influence and are influenced by the functioning of our major organs, the integrity of our immune defences and the workings of the many circulating biological substances that help govern the body's physical states. When emotions are repressed, this inhibition disarms the body's defence against illness. Repression - dissociating emotions from awareness and relegating them to the unconscious realm - disorganizes and confuses our physiological defences so that in some people these defences go awry becoming the destroyers of health rather than its protectors.

There is no body that is not mind, no mind that is not body. The word 'mindbody' has been suggested to convey the real state of things.

We are all self deniers and self-betrayers to one extent or another, most often in ways we are no mare aware of.

Repression is a major cause of stress and a significant contributor to illness. While all of us dread being blamed, we all would wish to be more responsible - that is, to have the ability to respond with awareness to the circumstances of our lives rather than just reacting. We want to be the autoritatative person in our own lives; in charge, able to make the authentic decisions that affect us. There is no true responsibility without awareness.

“Strong convictions do not necessarily signal a powerful sense of self: very often quite the opposite. Intensely held beliefs may be no more than a person’s unconscious effort to build a sense of self to fill what, underneath, is experienced as vacuum.”

“Strong convictions do not necessarily signal a powerful sense of self: very often quite the opposite. Intensely held beliefs may be no more than a person’s unconscious effort to build a sense of self to fill what, underneath, is experienced as vacuum.”

“Why can’t parents see their children’s pain?

“I’ve had to ask myself the same thing. It’s because we haven’t seen our own"

“Wit can be a coping style that blocks conscious emotional pain, camouflages anger and provides  a means of gaining acceptance by others.”

19. The 7 A's of Healing:

Emotional competency is the capacity that enables us to stand in a responsible, non-victimized, non-self-harming relationship with our environment. It is the required internal ground for facing life's inevitable stresses, for avoiding the creation of unnecessary ones and for furthering the healing process Few of us reach adult age with anything close to full emotional competence. Recognizing our lack of it is not cause for self-judgement only a call for further development and transformation.
  1. Acceptance : Acceptance is simply the willingness to recognize and accept how things are. It is the courage to permit negative thinking to inform our understanding, without allowing it to define our approach to the future. Acceptance does not demand becoming resigned to the continuation of whatever circumstances may trouble us, but it does require a refusal to deny exactly how things happen to be now. It challenges the deeply held belief that we are not worthy enough or 'good' enough to be whole. Acceptance also implies a compassionate relationship with oneself. It means discarding the double standard that, as we have seen, too often characterizes our relationship with the world. Compassionate curiosity about the self does not mean liking everything we find out about ourselves, only that we look at ourselves with the same non-judgemental acceptance we would wish to accord anyone else who suffered and who needed help.
  2. Awareness : Animals and young humans are highly competent at picking up on real emotional cues If we lose that capacity as we acquire language, it is only because we receive confusing messages from our immediate world. The world we hear tell us one thing, the emotional data say something different. If the two are in conflict, one will be repressed. We repress our emotional intelligence in order to avoid an ongoing war with the crucial people in our lives, a war we cannot possibly win. And so we lose our emotional competence even as we gain verbal intelligence. Awareness also means learning what the signs of stress are in our won bodies, how our bodies telegraph us when our minds have missed the cues. In both human and animal studies, it has been observed that the physiological stress response is a more accurate gauge of the organism's real experience than either conscious awareness or observed behaviour. We can learn to head symptoms not only as problems to be overcome but as messages to be heeded.
  3. Anger: Anger is the energy Mother Nature gives us as little kids to stand forward on our own behalf and say 'I matter.' Anger respect boundaries. Standing forward on your own behalf does not invade anyone else's boundaries. It does not require hostile acting out. It is a psysiological process to be experienced. Second, it has cognitive value - it provides essential information. It is a response to a perception, threat or the like. Experience the anger, contemplate what triggered it, depending on circumstances manifest it in some way or let go. Don't supress the experience. Display it in words or deeds, but do not act it out in a driven fashion as uncontrolled rage or supress it. Aggressive impulses are suppressed because of guilt and the guilt exists only because of the simultaneous existence of love, of positive feeling. It is incredibly anxiety provoking and guilt-producing for a person to experience aggressive feelings toward a loved one. Healthy anger is a relaxation and empowerment.  It helps anxiety disappear. Don't let it turn into range. Healthy anger help reduce muscle tension.
  4. Autonomy: Autonomy is the development of internal centre of control. In the self-definition we define what we value and want in life, the locus of control is from inside ourselves. Mind and spirit can survive grievous physical injury, but time and again we see that physical body begins to succumb when psychic integrity and freedom are jeopardized. People suffer when their boundaries are blurred. It is important to give freedom with restrictions. Most commonly in the lives of children, boundaries are not so much violated as simply not constructed in the first place. Many parent cannot help their child develop boundaries they themselves were never enabled to do so in their own formative years. We can only do what we know. Without a clear boundary, the child remains enmeshed in the relationship leading to withdrawal/sullen or self-defeating resistance to authority. Boundaries and autonomy are essential for health. We experience life through our bodes. If we are not able to articulate our life experience our bodies speak what our minds and mouth cannot.
  5. Attachment  : Attachment is our connection with the world. In the earliest attachment relationships, we gain or lose the ability to stay open, self-nurturing and healthy. We experienced anger, fear or repressed it. There we developed our sense of autonomy or suffered its atrophy. Connection is vital to healing. We sometimes find it easier to feel bitterness or rage than to allow ourselves to experience that aching desire for contact that when disappointed, originally engendered the anger. Behind all our anger lies a deeply frustrated need for a truly intimate contact. Healing both requires and implies regaining the vulnerability that made us shut down emotionally in the first place. We are no longer helplessly dependent children; we no longer need fear emotional vulnerability. Challenge the ingrained belief that unconsciously burdens - that we are not lovable. Seeking connection is a necessity for healing.
  6. Assertion :It is the declaration to ourselves and to the world that we are and that we are who we are. Assertion in the sense of self-declaration is deeper than the limited autonomy of action. It is the statement of our being, a positive valuations of ourselves independent of our history, personality, abilities or the world's perceptions of us. Assertion challenges the core belief that we must somehow justify our existence. It demands neither acting nor reacting. It is being, irrespective of action. It is letting go of the very need to act.
  7. Affirmation : When we affirm, we make a positive statement, we move toward something of value. There are two basic values that can assist us to heal and to remain whole, if we honor them. The first value is our own creative self. Everyone has an urge to create, we need to honour the urge. To do so is healing for ourselves and for others; not to do so deadens our bodies and our spirits. 'What is in us must out'. The great art is to express our vitality through the particular channels and at the particular speed Nature foresaw for us.' The second great affirmation if of the universe itself - our connection with all that is. We are dust enlivened. We are part of the universe with temporary consciousness, but never apart from it. The word seeking is frequently employed in relation to spiritual world. We are seekers. Each seeks his or her own way to the light within and without.

Health rests on three pillars: The body, the psyche and the spiritual connection. To ignore any one of them is to invite imbalance and dis-ease.

Cancer group meetings offers 1) Education 2) Stress Managment Technique 3) Enhancement of coping skills 4) Psychological support

Pressure

New Year, First gift, BP Monitor.

To remind - Health is the first of life.

What a way to begin the year.

After the rituals, visiting aunt, and then checking pressure which turned out to be high...No wonder, was cranky.

Pressure is the force applied perpendicular to the surface of an object per unit area over which that force is distributed. Poor diet, lack of exercise and certain lifestyle factors can affect blood pressure pattern, including: Night-shift work. Smoking. Overweight or obesity.

Migraine like pain. But no vomiting or nausia, had one side severe headache, aversion to light, sound.

Learning about migraine disorder can be intimidating.

A migraine is a headache that can cause severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the head. It's often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound. Migraine attacks can last for hours to days, and the pain can be so bad that it interferes with your daily activities.

For some people, a warning symptom known as an aura occurs before or with the headache. An aura can include visual disturbances, such as flashes of light or blind spots, or other disturbances, such as tingling on one side of the face or in an arm or leg and difficulty speaking.

Medications can help prevent some migraines and make them less painful. The right medicines, combined with self-help remedies and lifestyle changes, might help.

Migraine triggers

There are a number of migraine triggers, including:

Hormonal changes in women. Fluctuations in estrogen, such as before or during menstrual periods, pregnancy and menopause, seem to trigger headaches in many women.

Hormonal medications, such as oral contraceptives, also can worsen migraines. Some women, however, find that their migraines occur less often when taking these medications.

Drinks. These include alcohol, especially wine, and too much caffeine, such as coffee.

Stress. Stress at work or home can cause migraines.

Sensory stimuli. Bright or flashing lights can induce migraines, as can loud sounds. Strong smells — such as perfume, paint thinner, secondhand smoke and others — trigger migraines in some people.

Sleep changes. Missing sleep or getting too much sleep can trigger migraines in some people.

Physical strain. Intense physical exertion, including sexual activity, might provoke migraines.

Weather changes. A change of weather or barometric pressure can prompt a migraine.

Medications. Oral contraceptives and vasodilators, such as nitroglycerin, can aggravate migraines.

Foods. Aged cheeses and salty and processed foods might trigger migraines. So might skipping meals.

Food additives. These include the sweetener aspartame and the preservative monosodium glutamate (MSG), found in many foods.

Remember:

Today it is  privilege to be alive. Welcome the day with love and enthusiasm! Embrace the fact that every opportunity is yours and unconditional love follows you wherever you go.

Vitality & Endurance

 Vitality is Authentic Happiness.

Synonyms of vitality (noun energy, spirit) clout. continuity. endurance. exuberance.

Endurance is the ability to continue doing something painful or difficult for a long period of time without complaining

“The opposite of depression isn’t happiness, it’s vitality.”

"Vitality in life is directly proportional to the vividness of your vision, the articulation of your speech, and the clarity of your mission. That’s the source of your vitality. We automatically plateau when we don’t have a clear vision but when our vision is clear, we have vitality. Vitality is automatically also proportionate to the details you put in your mind. So if you’ve got everything delegated and you’re clear about what you do, your vitality is up. And when you do something you love to do, you don’t age as much. ……….anytime you’re doing lower priority things, you’re more in your amygdala. The amygdala is always trying to avoid pain and seek pleasure and so it tends to subjectively skew your reality. You tend to then have a fear of loss of your infatuations and a fear of gain of your resentments and you are living in phobias, and that ages you. It puts time and space in your mind and occupies your mind and distracts you. That’s what ages you and that’s what entropy is.  – Dr. John Demartini"

Here, Vividness means clarity or brightness, like the vividness of a specific, distinct childhood memory or the vividness of a glowing neon sign on a clear night. When something is vivid, it's brilliant, powerful, or sharp, and the quality of being vivid is vividness.

Entropy is a way of measuring the amount of order present or absent in a system

Articulation is the act of expressing something in a coherent verbal form, or an aspect of pronunciation involving the articulatory organs.

Infactuation is a feeling of foolish or obsessively strong love for, admiration for, or interest in someone or something : strong and unreasoning attachment.

Vitality is the state of being full of energy. It is the capacity to live and develop physical or mental vigor. In both the physical and mental sense, vitality refers to a feeling of aliveness. The word itself is derived from vita or "life." In the physical sense, this vitality refers to feeling healthy and capable and energetic.

Resentment is a feeling of angry displeasure.

Amygdala, region of the brain primarily associated with emotional processes. The name amygdala is derived from the Greek word amygdale, meaning “almond,” owing to the structure's almondlike shape.

When people talk about stamina, they often use it to refer to the feeling of being peppy or energetic while doing an activity. Endurance refers to your body's physical capability to sustain an exercise for an extended period.

More endurance means more running, dodging, attacking and equip burden. If I can dodge a lot, I can probably avoid a vast majority of what the game throws at me. If I raise my vitality, I can take one or two hits more while moving slower/attacking less/dodging less.

Endurance is a step ahead of vitality, since just about everything takes away your health bar, being able to evade, block and/or attack more helps tremendously.

As nouns the difference between endurance and vitality is that endurance is the measure of a person's stamina or persistence while vitality is the capacity to live and develop.

Vitality is the capacity to live and develop Energy or vigour That which distinguishes living from nonliving things; life, animateness Related terms * devive * revive * survive * viable * vital * vivid * vitalism

The measure of a person's stamina or persistence. He has great endurance , he ran a marathon and then rode his bicycle home.

Ability to endure hardship.

Mentalhealth and Wellbeing

Wellbeing, anything that makes you at peace with yourself.

"We will help you. You are worth helping." “There is nothing in your budget for joy. No books, no flowers, no music, not even a cold beer. And there is nothing in your budget to give away to someone else. We don’t help people who don’t have better values than you do.” "What I had to give away was this story itself."

Gita talks about remaining collected, focused and tranquil not only in the midst of the battlefield of life, but a physical battle field too.

"May be we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon. A happiness weapon. A Beauty Bomb. And every time a crisis developed, we would lanuch one first - before we tried anything else. .....people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination instead of death.

CAKE (Compassion, Acceptance, Kindness and Empathy).

Applying Compassion, Acceptance, Kindness and Empathy techniques can foster healthier and more fulfilling interpersonal connections.

Would You agree if I say, having CAKE daily is good for health?

Compassion

Compassion is a social feeling that motivates people to go out of their way to relieve the physical, mental, or emotional pains of others and themselves.

How to Practice Compassion

Speak with kindness.

Apologize when you've made a mistake.

Listen carefully and without judgment.

Encourage other people.

Offer to help someone with a task.

Be happy for someone else's success.

Accept people for who they are.

Forgive people for making mistakes.

Compassionate Inner Voice

“I’m human, and I’m growing”

“I’ve faced challenges before and have come out stronger. I can handle this too.”

“I forgive myself; mistakes are opportunities for growth.”

“It’s okay to feel overwhelmed, I’m allowed to have difficult moments.”

Acceptance:

Acceptance in human psychology is a person's assent to the reality of a situation, recognizing a process or condition that is a fait accompli without attempting to change it or protest it. The concept is close in meaning to acquiescence, derived from the Latin acquiēscere.

Sympathy is feeling bad for someone who is lesser than I am; Empathy is actively understand where others are coming form and being tuned to their needs

Reach out with a text, email or note to let someone know you’re thinking of them and are there for them.

·       Nurture self-encouragement

·       Accept yourself, as you are

·       Honor your accomplishments

·       Acknowledge your emotion without judgement

Write down:

Today, I commit to….

I want to do this because….

I will accomplish this by……

Think of one person you can invite :

A – ----------Schedule check in calls to help them embrace current difficulties.

K – ------------------ Give verbal assurance to reach out for any conversation or assistance

Serene Mind, Soul Sync and Remove Stress

There are thoughts 'n' number of them, that cross our mind day in and day out.

Some broadly divide these into Positive thoughts and negative thoughts.

What are negative thoughts?

They are anything that would create stress in you.

“Stress comes from not taking action, about something that you can control. As soon as you identify and take action to address the situation, it helps reduce stress. It comes from ignoring what you need to do. You can be in or out of work and be in stress. If you keep worrying and do nothing, you would be stressed.”

Stress state can be broadly divided into three:

  • Stress from Anger - This could lead to frustration,
  • Stress from Fear - Fear is mostly about future, leading you to anxiety.
  • Stress from Sorrow - Sorrow or sadness come out of something that has happened in the past, and lead you to depression.

Suppressed anger hurts us in 3 ways.

One, it causes chronic diseases among us. Anger is a destructive force.

Two, it become addiction and hurt us. Unable to cope with the anger that consumes us, we fall into destructive habits like stealing, overeating, and quitting in the middle of work.

Three, anger leads to maddened crying and despair.

It is natural to get angry and frustrated for a while. But it must dissolve. When anger lingers in our thoughts it will consume you so much that if it goes into extreme, you might even get heart attack or brain haemorrhage.

Your anger will not make you remember the good in them just like the night make sky invisible.

Changes brought about by anger, hatred and violence in any system are either irreversible or spread like an infectious disease.

Getting angry again and again will make you desensitized and become a beast.

In anger you have a monkey mind. Your freedom is to let go of anger as the monkey is free to let go of sweets. Put the anger aside for a few moments and don't blame yourself, think about how much anger has cost you. Finally practice Serene mind.

So with fear and sorrow.

The opposite of this is the state of satisfaction, joy, happiness, peace, bliss.

There are various ways, in which you can move from one state of mind to another, in case you try; or you can continue to be in your present state.

There could be a regular practise you follow, a music, dance, drawing, getting into nature.

Serene mind practice do not take much time, its a 3 minute task

  • Close your eyes. Pay attention to your breathe. Inhale and Exhale deep.
  • What is the exact emotion that is arising within you right now? - fear , anger, frustration, sorrow, sadness, love, joy, peace? Identify the exact emotion. Absorb the movement of your mind. Are you obsessed about your past, your future, or are you living in the present?
  • See a flame, see a flame move from the centre of your forehead to your skull. See the flame glow in the middle of your skull. Bring a smile to your face and open your eyes.
Continue doing this practise whenever you feel disturbed.

Joy matters, it is important, to bring joy to your life. A you bring constant attention to your inner state, your state would transform.

Practice the soul sync meditation It will not take more than 15 minutes.

Sit erect with palms up, concentrate on breathing.
  1. For every breath you take, touch your thumb to different fingers. In this manner take 8 complete breath. Keep touching the finger and bring attention back to breath.
  2. Inhale and while exhaling create a humming sound. Each time you hum touch the tip of your finger and do it 8 times like the previous step.
  3. When you breath slowly, there is a pause between inhalation and exhalation. Bring attention to that point. Keep count of your breath by touching your finger tips. Observe 8 breath pauses in this manner.
  4. Internally chant the mantra 'Aham' eight times on your exhale, touching your finger tips.
  5. Touch you index finger with your thumb, and visualise your limited self expanding into cosmic self. Without boundaries, limitations, into the limitless field of consciousness, of endless possibilities.
  6. Make an intention for the manifestation of one desire, visualise and feel that it is happening. Feel the sense of fulfilment and joy. When ready take a deep breath and Open your eyes.
Thanks to Sasiman, for the invite for this session at the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram at Azad road.

Do what you love, Stress happen when you procrastinate. Life takes over and you are stressed. Stress comes by not taking action. The mere fact that you are addressing the problem, relives the stress. Good stress is working and bad stress is not taking action. Take on positive pressure and action.

What is the use of all the knowledge, unless you can put it into practise.

Happiness is my nature

Happiness is who I am

Happiness and Love is what I radiate to everyone

I am a Happy Being

I am a loveful soul

Powerful and divine.

Let me just check

in any corner of my mind

or deep in my subconscious

Do I hold any person or any thing

Which I belive is the cause of my emotional hurt

Scan the mind, check, it could be recent, it could be very old.

It could be brused aside, but it is still there deep.

Is there any thing that is the cause of emotional

Something that happened, someone who was responsible for.

A mistake they made, or a mistake I made

Do I still, in a very suttle way, still blame someone for my hurt?

For the rejection I feel, for the insult I experienced,

And today, I am certain, I am going to release from my mind

Shift them, not from a painful past

But from present and future full of love and blessings

Because I am a powerful being

What I feel is not because of what they did,

What I feel is because of what I feel they did,

My feelings are because of what I think about them,

I choose forgiveness, I choose acceptance, I choose love

Because that is truely my nature, it is who I am .

It is the vibration,at which I live my life,

Because that is where true happiness is.

Thank you so much.

come back to the present.

Only one thing that we need to be happy 'ALWAYS' are - ALWAYS, Because we are happy, but get diverted sometimes.

Remember, their power is outside. They have the power to say and do what they belive is right. We have the power to think what we belive is right.

Shift from the life of blame, to personal responsibility.

Creator of our Thoughts and feelings is we ourselves. 'I' the energy - light, power, consciousness, energy - whatever.

Affirm many times a day.

I am the creator of my thoughts and feelings.

All the 'because of' has to fall off.

I choose how to be in the face of stimulus.

Don't say 'I cannot live without'....You become dependent. Just one shift today say 'I choose to...'

It will become a natural way of living. 'I create the stress...'

Stress = Pressure/Resilience

Pressure is not in my control - it can be current situation in the world, health or any external things.

It is mind over matter; not matter over mind.

Happiness means, being emotionally independent. Not just, physical, mental, financial.

It is power.

Those using abusive language, are not in the right state of mind, they are emotionally in pain, and what they say and do, is reflecting that.

Our emotion and thought is our creation. Be empathetic, compassionate and forgive. When you forgive, your are forgiving self.

I forgive, I forget means - It doesn't hurt anymore. You cannot forget.

Say 'It's over, I release, I let it go. '

I am a empathetic, loving soul.

Why things happen to us again repeatedly?

I am not this body. When someone die, we say, he is left. Master of the body has left.

Where do I go?

Life, after life after life, is just like a costume.

When  souls meet, in the first go sometimes we feel a connect. Sometimes we have known someone for long, but never feel the connect.

We are all souls on a journey. Many many karmas, experiences, thoughts, emotional pattern.

We play role's in this lifetime. If we have Karmic discomfort , it could be for various reasons. So some go through the past life regression. Past is already done. We do not have to worry about it.

Power lies in the present. What I choose to do in the present, will decide the future.

So the world say, everything is pre-destined. Pre-destined by whom? By me.

Past is destiny. Future is Free will.

Send the energy, that you want to create.

Focus only on what you are giving in thoughts, feelings and emotions. Forgiveness means I am changing my present Karma.

If you don't heal your pain's from the womb of mother, from birth, it will be carried with us.

Affirm every morning and night what we are healing is in the subconscious:

I am a pure powerful soul.

Purity is my personality.

Love and Happiness is who I am.

I create happy thoughts always.

I radiate love and compassion to everyone.

Past is past, is over.

I am sorry, I am sorry, for what I have done in the past

I forgive you for what you Have done in the present

Our past karmic account is over

I radiate only love and blessings to you because this is who I am

I am the master of my mind

I am the creator of my destiny

🙏 Namaste

Then you travel light, no emotional baggage.

Light is always happy and pure. Extremely powerful. Simple.

Release, clean, forgive, everyday before going to bed.

Apologise, before going to bed.

Thoughts travel. Clean the clutter from the mind every day. There will be no baggage.

Radiating happiness is the simplest thing you can do in life.

When someone is stuck in a state of emotions:

It's like what should I do when I am physically unwell?

Two things - chances of falling ill less lead a good life for emotional immunity system, and then medicine.

What is needed is:

  1. Good rest to the mind, good sleep. It's not about long hours, but deep sleep. Best time is 10 pm to 2 am.  Best waking up time is 4 am to 5 am.
  2. Eat 2.5 hours before sleep.
  3. Don't let negative content get into mind. What we watch, read, listen, is who we become. Content = Destiny = Personality. Consume pure content, 15 minutes before going to sleep and as soon as you wake up. High emotional nutritional content Morning and night. Being informed of what is going in the world is okay, don't consume it. I need to become that which can change the world, and not consume what is happening in the world.
  4. Take Pause of 1 minute every hour. Just a minute meditation. Sit back and reaffirm. 'I am pure and powerful, I let go of what happened in the last hour, and I am available and acceptable in the next hour.'
Diet - self reflection.

Inspite of that if there is emotional breakdown:

  1. Take a book, audio or video and consume it - it will give strength
  2. Take a minute, council self, as you were counselling a friend, either say or write.
Grief - to overcome.

We are a family of 4 - we lose one. That one lost 3 of us, and the body. How much they have lost? Their pain is more. Soul is going through after body experience. My responsibility now is to heal them, before they enter a new womb a new destiny. It needs to start with Happiness, and power and blessings.

When I am in pain, our vibration of pain reach them. Radiate gratitude and say farewell with gratitude for memories created. Send them with gratitude and blessings.

I am a powerful soul, and you are a very very powerful soul. Thank you for every moment with us, and we are still together,  you are still with us..dont worry about us, we will take care of us. You are always with us ...Perfect healthy body, loving mind and all good in your destiny......We will always remember you with love, love and only love and blessings.

Miss them with love and not with pain.

Moving out will depend on how much you are attached. More attached, more difficult it will be to leave. Like cloths. Tighter your dress, difficult to remove. Art of living is art of dying, and art of dying. It like people who are constantly travelling, they have bags ready, and can move on. But those not used to travel, will take time to pack and finish of things.

Conflict's of value vs. Conflict of beliefs and rules are different.

Enlightment: When I get out of my old way of pain and darkness. We are always on a journey, and it happens every single day.

When you are with people of Negative energy: - what do you do when someone is physically sick?
  1. Begin with self, delete negative from our aura
  2. Never thing that he is at a negative energy - say he is a pure soul.
  3. Energy is the fastest thing we can catch, radiate positive one.
  4. Learn how to respond to a stimulas with a positive word, else it would have escalated
  5. Heal the soul, and the outside healing would happen, building emotional immunity. Attachment is suttle, and it is addiction. Reflect on the soverginity, and not the current identity. Recognise with the clarity of love. Remember you are talking to a pure beautiful soul, not the labels.  You have to see it first in yourself. What you see in yourself is what you will see in others.
Most of us doubt our believes and believe our doubts. If you experience the life you focus on, understand meaning.

Know the difference between I and mine. Don't say they will go through. We are empowered, we empower them.

Let go, Self respect is not on public approval. It's a deep conditioning. Self- esteem should not be based on public approval.

Don't change and become what the world want you to be.

Prime, the mind and body, to be you. Pure souls. Anyone bullying, will not effect.

Hal Elrod's Keynote Speech : "The Miracle Morning"

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eR21ynDHwH8

all.in

Make every day the best day of your life. Give every day the best of your life. Wake up, make morning the best. Set the tone and direction for the day in the morning. Thank God for life. Follow SAVERS and grow.

Why did you wake up this morning? Ask this everyday.

Medicore - for daily things to do. Most just because all wake up. Start everyday working on yourself.

Physical, Mental, emotional and spiritual self - You win in the morning, you win the day.

What did you want to be when you grow up?

My way of looking at the world, is just one way, it need not be the right time. There could be another way.

Lived life with 5 minutes rule.

When there is anything negative happening, bitch/moun/complain/cry - for 5 minutes. Acknowledge and say, Can't change it. No use wishing something different.

I can't change the past, but I can change everything else. Unconditional acceptance.

Only two possibility:
  1. On a wheel chair for the rest of the life - but that would not effect my emotional well being. I will be happiest most grateful person. I have decided. What is your wheelchair? It is in the past. You can have the worst time of your life, and choose to be happy.
  2. Will walk again - Can't predict the future. But I have accepted the worst case, but is visualise me walking every single day. I talk of only what I want.
Then I was free, No fear, no worry.

1. Develop Emotional Invincibility
2. Optimise Your Morning Ritual
3. Create & Sustain Level 10 success
In Every Single Area of Your Life.

Don't live in stress. It will be negative. Choose positive mind set.

When there is anything negative happening, bitch/moun/complain/cry - for 5 minutes. Acknowledge and say, Can't change it. No use wishing something different.

I will be happiest most grateful person. Decide; Accept the worst case and visualise the best case.

Unconditional Acceptance.

Freedom from emotional pain.

Implement: 'Can't change it'.

Stuck in traffic jam - enjoy every moment.

Opposite of acceptance is resistance. It causes all the emotional pain. Don't resist the reality.

Event + Response = Outcome.

Traffic is a metaphor for life.

Accept this moment as it is. Find peace with it. It will give you emotional freedom.

All painful emotions are self created with our resistance to reality. We can choose our emotions at any given moment.

3 Keys to Emotional Invincibility

  1. 5 minutes rule
  2. 'Can-t change it'
  3. Accept life before it happens
Create better circumstances by making our self the best version. Have level 10 out of 10 in every field of our life. Dedicate your day for this.

The origin of Miracle morning. 2nd Rock Bottom. - Financial crises.

There is a fine line between optimism and delusion.

If you want to see something different, you have to do something different first.

Follow SAVERS:

Everyday morning just do these 6 things...10 minutes each of sitting in silence, Affirmation, Visualization,  Exercise,  Reading and Scribble (writing/Journaling)

4 Steps to create affirmation - That produce Extraordinary results:
  1. What You're committed to
  2. Why it's deeply meaningful to you
  3. Which actions will ensure your success
  4. When You're Committed to those action
2 Parts to Effective Visualization:
  1. Visualize your ideal outcome
  2. Visualize yourself engaged in your ideal activity w/optimum emotion.
Simple (But Transformative) Scribing

  1. Scribe 1-3 things you're grateful for
  2. Scribe 1-3 top priorities for today.
The greatest gift you can give to those you LOVE (and those you LEAD) is to fulfill YOUR potential. So that you can show them how to fulfill theirs.

Both you and your loved ones deserve it.

Why Take Time Off? (And How?!)

There is a  benefits of taking time off from work and how to do so with minimal stress. This lesson teaches how taking time off benefits your physical and mental health, as well as your work performance. Finally, the lesson goes into specific strategies to minimize the stress of being away from work. That way, you can take time off without guilt!

Overwork is not beneficial for your health, the quality of your work, or even your prospects for promotion..

• The benefits of taking time off include:

o Your physical health improves.

▪ Research links long work hours to higher blood pressure and an increased risk for heart

attacks and strokes.

▪ Time off leads to getting better sleep, which has numerous health benefits, including

boosting your immune system, improving your body's inflammatory responses, and

preventing weight gain.

o Your mental health improves.

▪ Long work hours are linked with elevated stress levels and higher risk for anxiety and

depression.

▪ Taking time off helps you regulate emotions and relieve stress.

o Your work performance improves.

▪ Time away can mean higher-quality work and improved cognitive function, which is

especially critical for traits such as focus, creativity, and innovation.

▪ It gives you more energy and motivation, which leads to higher productivity and overall

better performance.

▪ Higher performance can lead to career advancement, as research shows that those who

fail to take time off are actually less likely to get promoted or receive a salary increase or

bonus.

• To minimize the stress of being away from your job, follow these tips:

o Communicate you'll be gone.

▪ Tell your manager, coworkers, and colleagues that you'll be out of office.

▪ Send them a brief email reminder a day or two before you leave.

o Put an out of office notification in your email signature a couple of weeks before you leave.

▪ This provides an earlier heads-up that you'll be out and that your response will be

delayed.

o Set an "out of office" message on your email and voicemail.

▪ Provide information on when you'll be back and who to contact in the interim for any

urgent matters.

Put a sticky note on your door, desk, or computer monitor.

▪ State in your out of office message that you will be not checking your messages when on

vacation.

o Plan!

▪ Plan who will handle any urgent matters while you're out, and make sure your boss is

aware and on board with the plan.

▪ Provide any coworkers who are helping with relevant notes or information, and consider

sending them task or calendar reminders, if applicable.

o Ask your manager to call you, rather than email, if anything urgent comes up while you're gone.

o Delete your email app from your phone or tablet while you're on vacation.

o Block out time on your calendar for your first day back at work.

▪ Spend that morning checking and prioritizing emails, then respond in order of priority.

o Resist the temptation to dial in or log in while on vacation.

▪ Quality time away from work is critical to recharge physically and mentally, and it

improves your work performance once you're back on the job.

Too many workers don't use all of their paid time off. How can you better plan your time off so your

return to work is stress-free?

Why You Should Make Sure Employees Take Time Off - Written by Matt Krumrie

Does your company have that employee who brags about stockpiling vacation or PTO hours, or how they are so dedicated to their job they just never take vacation?

Tell that person to go on vacation, take time off, and to stay away from responding to email. Immediately. No one wins when employees don’t take time off.

“Taking vacations is correlated with less stress, decreased absenteeism, and increased job satisfaction,” says Praveen Puri, President, Puri Consulting LLC, and an expert in coaching both teams and individuals for high-performance and innovation.

According to a survey conducted by Pertino, more than half (59%) of Americans regularly check email, take a phone call and more during vacation. And 36% work at least once a day.

That culture needs to stop, now, and your managers can lead the change.

“Managers need to lead by example,” says Bill Driscoll, district president of Accountemps. “If employees see their boss never takes a vacation or gets away from the office, they are more likely to follow suit. You have to live by the culture you are trying to create.”

Tel Ganesan, president and CEO of Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Kyyba, Inc., a global IT, engineering and professional staff augmentation company, offers these five tips for employers who need to remind staff about the importance of taking time off and vacation:

Employees need to give their brains a break. When they do, they avoid “burn out” and can be more productive and creative.

Encouraging time off increases employee retention as they will be happier and tend to have more positive feelings towards their employer.

If you pay employees for time off they did not take, it affects your bottom line.

When an employ does not take time off to rest, it wears their body down making them more susceptible to illness and other health conditions. This in turn could cause more worker absence and insurance issues.

It encourages independence amongst employees, as well as collaboration with a variety of colleagues. When an individual does not take time off, others become more dependent on them

Driscoll provides these additional tips for creating a vacation-taking culture in the office:

Create a clear vacation policy and encourage your staff to use that time away from the office. Some companies choose to put a minimum number of days an employee must take to ensure staff is taking time off. The clearer the policy, the more likely your team members will take a vacation.

Often times, the culture of an organization is set by its leaders’ behaviors. A workaholic culture within an organization can be set by behaviors of the management team. This is another reason it’s important for managers to lead by example and use their vacation days.

When employees are absent, it actually benefits others in ways that often get overlooked, says Puri.

“It promotes team cross-functionality, and forces individuals to share knowledge with co-workers,” says Puri.

And it in the long run, it promotes, health, wellness, and happiness.

“Few people can be at their best without taking regular time to rest and recharge,” says Driscoll.

Are you Mindful or mindfull ? - Abiramika

Where is your awareness during this time? What happens?

Creating awareness of mindfulness

Bringing in a lot of attention on what you do. What are some other thoughts coming up? If any that preoccupation, which takes our focus from one thing are hinderances to mindfulness.

Only thing we don’t get back is time – need to be careful on how we spend it.

Thoughts – words – actions – habits – character – destiny

How much of iceberg do you see? 10%  - result, action, behavior, what we do not see – 90% - values, attitudes, thinking, feeling, belief, motives, judgements

Use nose to smell three different things, listen to 4 different voice, look for 5 new things around. Touch and identify 4 things around.

Monkey mind is given instruction to concentrate.

It’s being aware of our thoughts.. Be in the present.

Two way to do:

Formal – concentrate on breathing.

Informal – Mindful eating, walking, breathing, listening, breaks, appreciation, focus.

Lifefulness competinecy -  liveful living – how to appy it in current situation – awareness, innerself, mindulfl action, Intution, positive mindset, Inherent happiness, Gratitude

Accept things as they are.

THE WARNING SIGNS THAT YOUR BODY IS AGING TOO FAST AND HOW TO FIGHT BACK.

 Courtesy Futurrisk Health Tip

For those of you in your 40s, 50s, and even your early 60s, here are some signs to watch out for. They’re telling you that your body may be aging faster than it should.

1. Slow walking. There are fast walkers and there are s-l-o-w walkers. But it turns out that this isn’t just a matter of preference. An astounding study showed that slow walkers at age 45 are more likely to show accelerated signs of aging, especially in the lungs, teeth, and immune system. They’re also more likely to show decreased cognitive function sooner than fast walkers. But new research has found brisk walking is key to slower aging because of the effects on our telomeres.

Start a walking program. Begin with just five minutes a day and build up to thirty minutes. Try to work up to a pace of 100 steps a minute.

2. Sun spots. Sun spots are most common once you’ve reached 50 years old. They’re brown spots that appear most often on the face, hands, and arms. Most sun spots are harmless, but you should see your doctor if they are black instead of brown, or if they change shape or bleed.

Avoid being in the sun between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., when the sun is strongest. And always wear sunscreen. But be aware that some sunscreens pose a danger. Check out the Environmental Working Group’s list for safer sunscreens.  Eating an abundance of nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables, especially those high in polyphenols, like grapes,  can help boost your skin’s sun protection.

3. Easy bruising. As you age, your skin gets thinner and loses fat. This is especially true after 60, and especially if you’re a woman. Your blood vessels are also more fragile. And certain medications make it worse.

Vitamin C and two other natural supplements- RUTIN- Most people have never even heard of rutin but it’s a powerhouse when it comes to maintaining the strength of your capillaries and overcoming easy bruising. Rutin is found in apple peel, citrus fruit, black tea, and even buckwheat bran. HESPERIDIN- Like rutin, hesperidin is a bioflavonoid found in the peels of citrus fruits. Along with rutin and Vitamin C, taking hesperidin can dramatically reduce bruising and strengthen your capillaries. To get the most benefits from all three of these skin savers, you may want to try 400 to 500 mg of vitamin C and a combination of hesperidin and rutin, equating to a total of 400 mg, to your routine. By taking Vitamin C, rutin, and hesperidin you will make your blood vessels stronger and stop the bruising that leaves you with unsightly marks. Your skin will look younger and healthier and you’ll feel more confident. Just remember if you are on medications for blood conditions, it’s a good idea to discuss any supplements with your doctor that may have an effect. In one study, patients suffering from pigmented purpura — those deep purple bruises that get progressively worse — that took 50 mg of rutin two times per day along with 500 mg of Vitamin C twice a day were completely healed of their bruising within just four weeks. can strengthen your blood vessels, stop the bruising and help skin look younger and healthier.

4. Decreasing hand strength. Your grip strength may start to drop when you reach your 50s. You might find it harder to open a jar or keep your grip on the steering wheel. So much of what we do these days is automated. The push of a key on the keyboard or the tap of a Smartphone can accomplish a task that used to take effort. One study found that hand strength among millennials is nearly twenty percent weaker than it is in people thirty years their senior. This may not seem like a big concern. But studies have shown that grip strength is statistically connected to your lifespan, as well as to your risk of dementia, heart attack and stroke. You need to exercise your hands, just like you exercise the rest of your body. Studies have shown that grip strength is statistically connected to your: Lifespan, Risk for heart attack and stroke,  Dementia risk,  Mobility, Loss of overall muscle mass (sarcopenia), Chance of survival if you get cancer, etc.

Grip strength has even been revealed as a more reliable gauge of your biological age (how old your body seems based on certain biological and physical markers) than the number of candles on your last birthday cake. Here are eight simple things you can do to keep your hands strong, whatever your age.

  • Playing with clay. Smash it, squeeze it, roll it, pinch it — It will all lead to better grip strength.
  • Wringing out a wet cloth. Moisten a cloth or towel and wring it out with your hand. You can even do some cleaning while you’re at it.
  • Making a fist. Squeeze your hand tightly into a fist, hold it for a few seconds and then release. Doing repetitions of this exercise whenever you have a few minutes to spare will increase your grip strength over time.
  • Doing some gardening. Pulling weeds is a great way to strengthen your grip.
  • Practicing opening tight jars. Not only will this strengthen your grip, but it will prevent you from future frustration at not being able to open that jar of salsa you really want to snack on.
  • Trying rock climbing. If you start visiting your local climbing wall, your grip strength is sure to improve in no time.
  • Playing tug of war. Grab a rope or a TheraBand and encourage a friend or family member to strengthen their grip with you by playing one of your favorite childhood games.
  • Kneading some dough.

Frozen Vs. Fresh Vs. Packaged Food

Food:

  • Fruits, Vegitables,
  • Nuts
  • Processed food

"Processed food" includes food that has been cooked, canned, frozen, packaged or changed in nutritional composition with fortifying, preserving or preparing in different ways. Any time we cook, bake or prepare food, we're processing food.

Fresh Food:

Freshly picked fruits and vegetables straight from the farm or your own garden are of the highest quality, eaten unprocessed.

Fresh varieties are not always fresh, it depends on from where you are buying. In a consumer state where things are not produced, mostly what we get are semi ripe food, which do not develop all nutrients. Plus in the course of transportation, chemicals are added and it losses more nutrients.

Frozen Food:

However, if you are shopping at the supermarket, frozen produce may be equal to, or in some cases, even more nutritious than fresh varieties.

Frozen food too do lose some nutrients in the process of blanching , which is placing it in warm water before freezing to kill harmful bacteria's.

In frozen food, what one need to be careful is there are two ways in which it is done, be careful, that:

  •  Food is actually frozen, and there is no ice or water added to it.
  •  If it is water added - the quality of water might not always be good, and the weight increases so the quantity would be less.

At the end of the day, frozen fruit and vegetables are a convenient and cost-effective alternative to fresh options.

Packed/Canned Processed Food:

Buying processed foods can lead to people eating more than the recommended amounts of sugar, salt and fat as they may not be aware of how much has been added to the food they are buying and eating. These foods can also be higher in calories due to the high amounts of added sugar or fat in them.

Many of the 100-calorie pack items are free of trans fats and low in sugar, but don't confuse them with a nutritious snack, experts say. That's because they're highly processed, and not nearly as good for you as fresh fruits and vegetables.

Most pre-packaged foods have a list of ingredients, which includes preservatives. Food additives are normally listed near the end of the ingredient list, as they are usually found in smaller quantities.

Choose products with fewer and known ingredients. Look for whole foods, not variations of whole foods.

Processed packaged foods aren’t going away anytime soon and some of them can actually deliver nutrients when cooking is not an option. Use this information to help decipher the healthy and not-so-much and it can be possible to save time and cooking hassle, without sacrificing health.

Choose wisely, based of your body type. Stay healthy. Happiness Humesh!
