Normally, I have never been a fan of reality show. Have just seen a couple of them - especially that of Varun and Pornasree. At times used to just sit with family. This is the first one that I have watched from the start to finish.
Why? Not the winner or the judges, but Zamroodh. Dancer Zamroodh was one of the much-loved contestants of Dance Kerala Dance. The dancer has not only won the first runner-up trophy but also millions of hearts with his exceptional performances.
Announcing his entry into the show, Zamroodh wrote, "The secret of getting ahead is getting started" It's a dream come true moment for me as I pave the first stepping stone in my career in the world of dance by getting selected to The Indias Best Dancer show. This is a small glimpse from a moment that I'll be grateful to cherish forever in my life. So happy and proud, watch me on INDIAS BEST DANCER starts on 16th October. The second season of dance reality show India’s Best Dancer got its winner last Sunday night, 9th Jan 2022. Saumya Kamble beat Raktim Thaturia, Zamroodh, Roza Rana and Gourav Sarwan to lift the India’s Best Dancer Season 2 trophy. Saumya also took home a car and cash prize of Rs 15 lakh. Her choreographer Vartika Jha received a cheque of Rs Five lakh. There was just a margin of difference and Saumya and Gourav was almost neck to neck, but Gourav and rest 3 runner up's got 1 lakh each. This is one sad factor of the reality show. Then the eliminations, injury and other personal issues. Choreographers, the dance teachers put in so much of effort. India’s Best Dancer Season 2 was judged by Terence Lewis, Geeta Kapur and Malaika Arora.
At least in this season, another good thing was, there was real dance, otherwise, at times, it's more of gymnastics.
