What did you want to be when you grow up?
My way of looking at the world, is just one way, it need not be the right time. There could be another way.
- On a wheel chair for the rest of the life - but that would not effect my emotional well being. I will be happiest most grateful person. I have decided. What is your wheelchair? It is in the past. You can have the worst time of your life, and choose to be happy.
- Will walk again - Can't predict the future. But I have accepted the worst case, but is visualise me walking every single day. I talk of only what I want.
When there is anything negative happening, bitch/moun/complain/cry - for 5 minutes. Acknowledge and say, Can't change it. No use wishing something different.
I will be happiest most grateful person. Decide; Accept the worst case and visualise the best case.
Unconditional Acceptance.
Freedom from emotional pain.
Implement: 'Can't change it'.
Stuck in traffic jam - enjoy every moment.
Opposite of acceptance is resistance. It causes all the emotional pain. Don't resist the reality.
Event + Response = Outcome.
Traffic is a metaphor for life.
Accept this moment as it is. Find peace with it. It will give you emotional freedom.
All painful emotions are self created with our resistance to reality. We can choose our emotions at any given moment.
