There are actually three different kinds of “Bigg Boss success”:
1. Unknown/lesser-known → famous
Sunny Leone, Shehnaaz Gill, Asim Riaz, Robin Radhakrishnan.
2. Already known → much bigger public identity
Pearle Maaney, Hina Khan, Tejasswi Prakash, Gautam Gulati.
3. Already successful → Bigg Boss becomes another platform
Established television actors such as Sidharth Shukla, Rashami Desai and Karan Kundrra.
And perhaps the most interesting example is Shehnaaz Gill. She didn't win Bigg Boss 13, yet the show became a major turning point in her career. That illustrates something important about reality television: the winner of the competition and the person who gains the most from the platform don't necessarily have to be the same person.
