Breathe: Into The Shadows

The second season, after R. Madhavan's 'Breathe', was released on July 10, 2020 but happened to see it only now.  It had Abhishek Bachchan and Nitya Menon in the lead roles.

Apart from Abhishek, Nithya, Amit Sadh and Shruti Bapna, 'Breathe: Into The Shadows' also features Saiyami Kher and Hrishikesh Joshi in pivotal roles. Abundantia Entertainment has backed the project directed by Mayank Sharma. Dr. Avinash Sabharwal (Bachchan) finds his 6-year-old daughter Siya kidnapped by a masked man. The kidnapper demands that Sabharwal kills a man in order to get his daughter back. In reality, it is Sabharwal himself who is the masked man, as a result of his multiple personality disorder

This time around, the protagonist Abhishek Bachchan turns an antagonist to save his daughter. The 'mask' has played a very important role in the web show this time around, since the real antagonist hides behind the mask, and so does Abhishek, when he digs in deeper in hopes of rescuing his child.

Nithya Menon, who plays Abhishek's wife and mother to the missing daughter, brings out some real emotions, while some times it looks dramatized. When Abhishek asks 'do you see me as a father or as a murderer?', and she goes on to answer with, "a man who was trying to save his family."

Pritpal Singh unknowingly and mistakenly killed a puppy named Goofy whom Avinash considered his friend and loved him very much, so he was killed first. Abhishek seems to have lust for Shruti Bapna (Natasha), but ends up getting her killed. Abhishek Bachchan is also heard connecting the dots between anger and lust when it comes to murdering Bapna's character. Another twist that comes in the trailer is, Bapna's attraction to Nithya's lips, hinting that she might be homosexual, thus rejecting the antagonist.

In the middle of the scene, enters Amit Sadh, but with Abhishek taking over the police force too, he is left out as a mere pawn in the big game. The show ends with Saiyami Kher's character visiting Avinash at the facility, and receiving a piece of paper with 'C-16' written on it. ... C-16 is the code word that J told Saiyami's character he'd give her if he needed her help, in one of their chats in a hotel room. He is probably staging a breakout.

"Papa's Princess", "Filthy", "Wings and Chains", "Mind Games", " Reflection", "Turning Point", "Relay Race", "Bad Uncle", "Lights out", "1996", "Chef's Special", "C-16" are the names of each part.

Saibal Chatterjee writing for NDTV called the series "low On oxygen", giving it 1.5 of 5, there has been flaws in the story telling and direction, turning out to be plain preposterous.
