Perception is the reality, Imagination is creativity

In our world, perception is the reality. It's a scary world out there now! we expect others around us to follow the rules around us, but many do not.

Every individual is different, their upbringing, thought process determine their perception and according to that they would be right, but because our upbringing and thought process is different, we might thing them to be wrong. Why cant we think alike? All souls have been on a long journey - with different costumes. We look at one another and ask, how/why are you like this? Each want other to be like them, but it's not possible. Even the offspring at times are very different from the parents. Each of us are soul on a journey, with past and future. Enjoy the different music. Expectation word give sorrow. Pray daily, I accept each person as they are. It's only a way of thinking.

How many days will it take to change a thought process? Everything is left behind. We only carry our sacraments/Sanskar/Karam. We come with a recorded CD and take things from what we see around. We record what we want. So lets record all that is good - in speech, thoughts and deeds.

We get into sorrow not because of what others tell us, but because what runs in our mind, and how we take what others tell us. We should take care of our thoughts, and we can be happy. This is spirituality, this is meditation.

Perception Vs. Imagination:

Perception is a way of thinking about something based upon what you know about it.

Example: Kangana Ranaut movie is getting released, it will be good.

Imagination is thinking about something in a way that may only ever exist in your own mind.

Example: I could see Kangana playing Draupadi in a new Mahabharatha movie.

Imagination is the process of creating something that don’t exist, and perception is acknowledging something that exist.

These are the definitions provided by the Google's search engine.

Imagination

The faculty or action of forming new ideas, or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses.

Perception

The ability to see, hear, or become aware of something through the senses.

Awareness of something through the senses.

The way in which something is regarded, understood, or interpreted.

Intuitive understanding and insight.

Imagination is related to the word new, while perception is related to words such as awareness, sense, instinct, understanding.

While we may use ours senses, our instincts, our knowledge to produce something entirely new to us or to many people, we also use our senses, our instincts, our knowledge to make sense of what we perceive. That produce our understanding.

Both imagination and perception rely on the same mechanisms of our brain. The key difference is the intention : are you actively seeking to come out with something new or are you acknowledging something.
