What if, it's a room with a view?

Just 20 minutes away from your house 🏠, can we say in our back yard?

Helping bridge the gap of decades, years, months, weeks, days - of joy's and sorrow

Drizzles trace old memories down tiled, red rooftops worn,

A bridge on the dam, but closed on one end. But it does not matter.

Nature showers rain on you, when you are in a pool, looking at the river.

Would you be upset if you get to know that rooms are unavailable because of late booking?

Inspite of 🌧 heavy rain

Life is what happens to us, when we are busy making other plans

Aren't we blessed to have these mangoes planted by someone?

And have shelter in this lovely abode called La Cascade.

Not far from Monkeys,

And where elephants come to drink water

In Kerala’s lap, the monsoon flows, tender, deep, and strong.

Inspite of 🌧 heavy rain, there was no dearth of people wanting to view natures grace

Athirapilly, often called the "Niagara of India,"

thunders down majestic cliffs, its mist kissing the canopy below.

We make reels, looking out for our problems,

Friends say, "Lagraha hai teeno apne patiyon ko dhakel ke aayi hai! 😂 got rid of their problems!!"

Never lose an opportunity of 👀 seeing anything that is beautiful, for beauty is God's handwriting.

Birds sit on the same rock for hours, are they meditating or looking out for their food?

When we hardly see cashew tree these days, it was amazing to have it right in front.

The One 'Born to Catch', had an amazing session under this mango tree, and the other threw the ball and we could get many yummy mangoes home.

Sun and Son we could surround ourself with, not easy to control

Raindrops dance on swaying palms, a soothing, rhythmic song,

In God’s own country, every storm feels sacred and reborn. Out to search the dice that fall down when playing ludo, and there is heavy downpour.

Like silver threads from heaven's hand, it leaps with thundering grace,

A waterfall carves poems in stone, in nature's warm embrace.

Between Athirapilly and Vazhachal, Charpa appears briefly yet powerfully, especially during monsoons, when it spills right onto the roadside like a divine surprise.

A butterfly kissed a foreigner, then soared away, Whispers of color fading with the day.

Just upstream, Vazhachal flows gracefully over rocky beds, surrounded by lush greenery and whispering bamboo groves.

We had promises to keep, though would have loved to spend more time
