Disasters - Natural or Man-made

Countries burning - some because of deforestation, some because of hot/dry weather and wind, some because of Ego. All creating “hazardous.” smoke and destructing taking away lives. Ticking Times.

Dozens of fires erupted in New South Wales, Australia in November and rapidly spread across the entire continent to become some of the most devastating on record; The smoke has even reached New Zealand, 1,000 miles away, and the situation all around is bad. Australia suffered its hottest day on record on December 18th at a scorching 40.9 degrees Celsius (105.6 degrees Fahrenheit). Extreme heat and drought create more tinder to fuel fires. The heightened intensity and frequency of wildfires falls in line with scientists’ predictions for a warming world. To bolster the local forces, the Australian military sent in its own aircraft and vessels. Help is also coming from abroad: the United States and Canada have sent firefighters to battle the blazes. There’s not much more that firefighters can do until the fires run out of fuel and burn themselves out. “It’s not humanly possible to prevent [these fires] or put them out,”

This is along the same time after Amazon fire has started. “There is no doubt that this rise in fire activity is associated with a sharp rise in deforestation,” Paulo Artaxo, an atmospheric physicist at the University of São Paulo, told Science Magazine. It is eaten away by logging, mining, and agribusiness. Amazon plays a huge role in pulling planet-warming greenhouse gases out of the atmosphere. After weeks of international and internal pressure, Bolsonaro deployed the military to help battle the fires on August 24, sending 44,000 troops to six states.

People Protest against Amazon and Array. But happy with trees being cut in Kerala/Kakkanad 😪😥😪Few remains, to be cut soon..

The seaport-airport road looks naked now.😢😭

So hot and difficult to walk on the road even in early January. February - March is going to be real tough. Let's be geared.

To add to these; the ego of Men -

The demolition of a group of apartments in Maradu municipality in Ernakulam district has been framed both as a tug of war between environmentalists and investors, and between two different arms of the government. The case, which has been fought for over 13 years in multiple courts, is back in the limelight after the Supreme Court issued a directive to demolish the apartments, home to around 400 families. The foundation for the case was laid in 2006, when the Maradu Panchayat granted permission for the construction for five waterfront apartments — Holy Faith, Kayaloram, Alfa Ventures, Holiday Heritage and Jain Housing — overlooking the scenic Kochi backwaters. According to CRZ norms, no construction is permitted within 200 metres of the coast in the area. The builders managed to get a stay on the case from the Kerala High Court in 2007 and the construction continued. The next significant development in the case occurred in 2016, when the Kerala HC ruled against the KCZMA, and laid the blame for the situation squarely on Maradu Municipality’s shoulder. This verdict was appealed in the Supreme Court, where KCZMA argued that the Panchayat had issued the permit without its concurrence.

@ Delhi or @ US Modi-Clinton Bhai Bhai is the new slogan.

"Put CAA Aside, Don't Let Country Burn To Save Ego", Says Chetan Bhagat amid an apparent hardening of the centre's stand on the citizenship law, as PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah refuse to back down

Why now the attack? Was it to move attention away from the impechment? Clinton did this to Serbia, even when the conflict was actually between Kosovo and Serbia and the US wasn’t even involved; Obama did it with Libya; and now The United States killed a high-profile commander Qassem Soleimani of Iran's secretive Quds Force with a drone strike in Iraq early Friday.

Prevention of destruction is far better than cure. Hate and Violence is never a solution.

As human beings, all 7 billion of us are born the same way but die different way, but we all do die. Physically, mentally and emotionally we are the same. We all want to live a happy life and avoid problems, but in a materialistic culture we overlook the importance of love and affection today.

What once was a beautiful place called Earth 😔

🙏Pray for Humanity!
