Conscious Mind: Awareness & Attention

Audit every area of your life– it’s the first step towards awareness.

So by ‘audit’ I mean literally go through every area of your life (career, relationships, health etc) and see what’s bringing you positive as opposed to negative emotions, peace vs. chaos, fulfilment vs. stress.

What this will help you to do is gain clarity on how you can restructure and rewire these micro aspects of your life that will help you minimise the negative and maximise the positive.

To welcome change/anything good in your life, you have to begin from a point of awareness of where exactly change is needed!

Food for thought– audit!

Understand where you are.

Decide where you want to go.

Once you are aware, pay attention. Paying Attention is focusing on the areas that you think needs improvement.

Be Conscious.

Conscious Mind - Attention (Focus) + Awareness (Audit/Processed in the background)

Mindfulness - Is the optimal relationship between attention and awareness. The point where both meet.

Involve all senses and be mindful.

Focus on Focus. When the two are balanced, mind becomes relaxed.

For this understand our breath first, observe the pattern.

When walking walk,

When standing stand,

When sitting sit,

Why lying down, lye down.

Be Present in the present.

Be Aware.

How is your wrist watch, things around you.

Practise box breathing - inhale - pause - exhale - pause. (4,8,7,8)

Our choices keep changing as we grow. Inspired by people around, places and time (PPT: Place, people,Time)

One change, there is a change in our perception.

Every head has its own headache.

Every one's sky is different.

Don't say - don't like or not good, say like less. It's your preferences.

Jab we met - 'Aree jala do sali ko yaar' - Anxiety in, Anxiety out.

Take a paper - write -ves , scribble all negative emotions, destroy.

We cannot control our emotions but we can control our response.

E+R=O

Event + Response = Outcome
