What is holding us back from converting our dreams into reality? 103 of 2021.



It could - only if we dared. We can make a list of things, it will all boil down to one - Dare. 

What is stopping us then?  - We could name many things, which again can be put in one word - Fear. 

Dare to win. Learn to Dare. 

Four areas where people tend to worry about most are:

  • Finances - Mark - lost everything. Everything is potential. 
  • Physical appearance - Malcolm of Canada  - 5 Ft. 2 Inches - No one insurance agent
  • Multiple losses - Thomas Edison - Bulb 
  • Poor health - Terry Fox - Canadian runner
  1. Problems are Opportunities in Disguise : "Life is a grindstone, and whether it grinds you down or polishes you up is for you and you alone to decide." - Cavett Robert
  2. Expand your imagination about What's possible : "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. " - Mark 11:24 Be clear of what you want. Human mind has two parts - the conscious makes all the decisions and the subconscious makes all the provisions. The conscious determines what, and the subconscious figures out how. Great thinking attracts great results. Mediocre thinking attracts mediocre results. Goals are for lifetime. They are our voluntary yet mandatory assignment. Purpose is the underlying direction that gives meaning to our goals. 
    1. Purpose  = Why
    2. Goal =What
    3. Action - Strategy = How
    4. Why determines what which in turn determines how. 
      • Life is not the sum of what we have been, but what we yearn to be - Jose Ortega 
      • When you have a clear purpose, you won't have time for negativity. 
      • Ask and it shall be given to you. 
  3. Focus Your Energy : Focused mind power is one of the strongest forces in the universe. Focus energy in a direction, that you want to go. Key is Visualization, Visualize completely. Your belief determines your action, and your action determines your results. Better feedback from your results generally improves your attitude and future new results. But first you have to believe . Create Story board or the Vision board. Great mandate of our world is not to set things right, but to see things right. 
    1. We all visualize but it is worry,  or negative thoughts, 
    2. Mind can hold one dominant thought at a time
    3. Replace them with positive ones
    4. We own our imaginations
    5. And they come true.
    6. Seven steps for that are:
      1. Inhale : Have a Relaxed Awakeness
      2. Open your inner eye to the stage of your imagination
      3. Use past experiences
      4. Change the past
      5. Use all your senses
      6. Start with the end result
      7. Conclusion should be the same, relaxing and inspiring.  Example "And so it is. It cannot be otherwise, and I rejoice because of it. Thank you, God. "
  4. Affirm Yourself : You are where you are because you want to be there. If you want to be somewhere else, you'll change.  When you affirm, 
    1. Use positive words
    2. Begin with I am
    3. Stand - It will bring full consciousness to attention
    4. Jab index finger and centre finger to the middle of your chest
    5. Make it loud and clear
    6. Mean it
    7. Do it often
      1. Set your goal
      2. Visualize the goal as complete
      3. Affirm the desired result
  5. Life is a Balancing Act : I am an artist at living - my work of art is my life - Suzuki. Life may be on a tight rope, we will be
    1. Getting out of Balance
    2. Our first priority is getting in balance
    3. Make an assessment on how we are doing. 
    4. Make things happen. 
  6. You can do it with Love
    1. Self-Esteem : The need for love increases as we grow older .
    2. If you are in love - you haven't got time for anything else
    3. Takers: Neurotic behavior, results from lack f love. 87% of illness is caused by not getting enough love. When there is lack of love, our judgment wavers, we become incompetent and incapable. We turn inward, and our self esteem and self confidence shrink, our fear grow. Ultimately, the loss of love can lead to a catatonic state. 
    4. Givers: Love is the only thing in the world, you have to give away to get. Loving techniques are:
      • Hugging
      • Love notes
      • Cuddling
      • Saying
      • Smiling
  7. The Joy of Marriage and Family When you find your perfect other self, you will know it in an instant.  - Kahlil Gibran. Love that lasts a lifetime is generated by our belief that it will last a lifetime. Get married for better and better.
  8. Achieving total Prosperity Earn as much as you can, save as much as you can, Invest as much as you can, give as much as you can - Revered John Wellesly. Prosperity creates freedom. Have an idea book. Ideas are everywhere. 12 Steps to prosperity:
    1. Don't focus on the problem
    2. Think prosperous thoughts - Go for luxuries and the necessities will take care of themselves.
    3. Don't believe in hard times
    4. Allow Prosperity to find y
    5. My prosperity makes everyone better off
    6. Get Past "Stuckedness" - The ABC of decisions is always be deciding. 
    7. Don't quit, no matter what
    8. Promise a lot and deliver even more
    9. Get in the right career
    10. Earn money, save , increase net worth, tithe , be a philanthropist. 
    11. Aim high. Go for the king of the mountains. 
    12. Be assertive in your actions. 
  9. Achieving total Well-Being Rebuilt a healthy life. It includes flat stomach,  well defined muscles, freedom from bad habits, lower heart rate, cholesterol level, fat intake, better conditioned flexible body. Get fit and then diet. To replace fat with muscles, exercise longer not harder. 
  10. It's who you meet that counts You'll be the same person you are today except for the people you meet, the books you read, the tapes you hear. - Charles Jones. Write it down, aim to meet many kind of people. your idols.
  11. Strengthen your mind It is more dangerous to feed junk TV and newspapers to our minds than it is to feed junk food to our bodies. Have a purpose. "My purpose in life is to.......((i) describe the action you can see yourself doing for others, ....(ii) describe the type of person you want to serve (iii) Describe the goal you want to co-create with that person. --------
    1. Read Right
    2. Be a mind sharer - You can train your mind to be magnetized to self- confidence, success and prosperity. Don't be afraid of sharing
    3. Become a 'Mentee' - have a mentor. Place two fingers on your chest and say out loud, "i'm pushing back my limits. I'm going to find out what my real abilities are!"
    4. Listen to inspirational and instructional tapes
    5. Attend seminars
    6. Avoid the influence of bad TV
      • Mind power is a terrible thing to waste. 
  12. Awakening Our Spiritual Selves God, family, work all are first. 
    1. Say an original, hand-holding grace over each meal
    2. Seek to find your spiritual purpose in life
    3. Develop a spiritual understanding of life and death. 
    4. Look for a minister, priest, rabbi or other teacher to facilitate your spiritual growth
    5. Do spiritual things. 
Spend rest of your life, fulfilling the wish of the little boy or girl inside you.

You can change your life by changing the way, you think about life.
