Sustainability

We have inherited this planet from our ancestors and own it to the next generation.

Consumers, brands, agencies and people all around are waking up to the need to be sustainable across the entire advertising ecosystem.  Achieving carbon net zero is a genuine challenge every business needs to help resolve.

Consumers are changing purchases based on brand purpose, marketers are using global pandemic as an opportunity to reflect their brand strategy, soon Government will mandate climate reporting by all companies.

It's time for change, Production has a critical role to play in the sustainability effort. Brands must think differently and start to implement positive changes - Debunking the conundrums with a holistic view of sustainable marketing production.

As an example agencies in the UK emit over 884,000 tonnes of CO2per year that equate to 54 million trees to be planted to offset the emission. Carbon-intensive travel, hospitality and complex supply-chains are the factors.

The questions all brands should be asking are:

  1. What was the carbon footprint of our last shoot?
  2. How much single use plastic do we use?
  3. What are the measures we we need to improve?

Our commitment:

  • Setting Targets - say 5 to 10% reduction from existing, adhere to UN Global compact
  • Switching to renewable energy sources - use green energy source
  • Monitoring progress - Reporting policy and review targets.
Need:
  • Awareness
  • Purchase
  • Advocacy
  • Consideration
Benefits:
  • Greater Sustainability - Deliver measurable reduction in carbon emission,
  • Higher Efficiency
  • Better Transparency

How we can help:

  1. Measuring - Benchmarking, understand carbon output along with area of waste, identify areas to reduce emission.

Alleviate current pain points, get ahead of the industry curve.

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns, mainly caused by human activities, especially the burning of fossil fuels.

National solutions to global problem don't work. Voice, ambition and action.  What the world need is - Leaders must not fail, who elects them to lead. When will leaders lead? Act in the interest of people, who are depended on us, don't lead the path of common destruction. - Barbados PM Mia Mottley, UN Climate Change conference UK 2021. Glasgow, Scotland.
