CLARITY:
Who am I?
~ Time - Better we are organise, better it would be. Destruction kills most of us, know where you are wasting your time. Find out when we are the most productive during the day. If we can give 3hrs a day productively to our business we can succeed. Check your energy. Schedule the right thing at the right time.
~ Money - It is not the lack of resources but the lack of being resourceful. Look for the ways, and you will find a way out. You can borrow, find an investor or sponsor. Think of abundance and you will attract that. Learning to ask, learning to borrow is a skill we women need to work on.
~ Value - We need to align ourselves with our values, to be successful. Write out what is important to you, and bring it in alignment with what you want to do. There are two kind of women: Giving vs. Ambitious - Identity/Legacy. Know which one you are and start working on it and also on your other side, to keep a balance. Be careful as the last thing you want is empty victory. You need to manage the guilt well. Be able to fix your emotions on your journey. Don't get frustrated and irritated, but enjoy and be fun.
~ Passion - Align with who you are. Ask - 1) What are my talents.- Dancing, putting things together, home, beauty 2) What do you get maximum appreciation for? 3) What you absolutely love to do? - I love to read - self-help life coach. 4) Where you would like to Improve your skill set - it will add value.
Understand my why:
- Reason - is like putting fuel in the car. Having a higher purpose, make us do things in the current, which is hard otherwise. It could be (1)Joy, living highest potential, (2)to keep ourselves happy/busy/productive and not just being consumer of life, (3) Money - Independence. You can fulfil not only your desire, but even others. Our joy comes from giving. (4) Legacy - Contribution to society - leave a mark.
- Connect to higher purpose - What is the problem your are solving in the world? It is of self confidence. Remove low self esteem. Give everything you do a larger purpose, a larger meaning. In this Patriarchal society, we should be the fuel in our car, and must not 'need' them, but 'want' them. Be the candle. A connection. There is no small work. A mason may be creating a wall, or building a home.
CREATION:
Feasibility study (first five) and Branding (last two).
- Product - Do you know your product? Divide it into three. (1) Easy to buy (2) Primary (3) High Ticket. Primary is the main business. High ticket is where big money is easy. Easy to buy is people can take it as add on or with lower cost. Identify one product/program in each category.
- Customer Avatar - How well do you understand, who need your product? Sit and make list of what our client needs. Understand need, desire and pain point of the customer and create a vertical. Three people - work on confidence, business, relationship - Eagle, Dove and Peacock. Ask them, understand their need, desire and pain points. Find the kind of people you want to serve.
- Market Survey - It's very important to get feedback from people we want to survey. How? By creating a list of 25 people who are your target audience and create a survey. Ask a minimum of 10 question with lot of choices. It will help you get over your fear.
- Pricing - We all have general idea, work backwords. Know how much you want to make per month, and this will help how much you want to sell. If you have clarity on this two, it will help know how many to sell. Another way of looking at it is where is your market at? Unique or general? Common sense is needed. Keep price low, untill you get market feedback. Keep moving upwards. It will help to improve, and once your improve, it is okay to charge more. Identifying pricing and quantity is the key.
- Where to Sell - From home, online, exhibition, stores? Having clarity will help in creating business plan. You can choose all eventually. Start small, and from one of these. More the platform, greater will be the sales.
- Product & Logo Design - allow flexibility to let the brand evolve, and make it consistent across all channel for brand recall. Use your name. More clarity the better. You should have the last say in your branding. Try to have one, that is clean, and not complicated. Today minimalism is the fashion. Keep it smart. Nice to get expert opinion. Firewere?
- Understand your Audience - While creating feasibility plan, branding happen. Share your feasibility plan with those creating your brand, as it will help create the market.
Once done, you will feel like a creator, as you are giving birth to your dream. Have fun, while doing it.
COMMUNICATION:
First 4 is Marketing and Communication.
- Marketing Formula - Visibility + Credibility = Profitability. First just become Visible. Let people see your business. In your visibility, understand what problem are you solving? Educating people will help credibility, word of mouth will spread. Once you have visibility and credibility in place, profitability will follow you. Leaving a mark is very important.
- Become Visible - Don't work in your business, work on your business. People who are talented keep working on them, but forget to market them. The best known always out beats the best. Business is 70% marketing and sales and 30% the rest. For this you need a mindset shift.
- Social Media - This has become so important now. Now advertisement and communication has become simple and easy, doable at the touch of a button. Create content every day. Make sure world is seeing your creation, or people will forget you soon. Post everyday. Have your website - it is your ownline retail store, without having to build with bricks and motors. Have something there to create your leads. Any good offer will help. Once you create leads, make a list for active customer. Or you will be stuck in your business, upgrading your sill, without marketing. Have full plan. Keep your client engaged. Think in ways on how you can keep your client engaged. A couple of loyal fans are enough to keep your client engaged.
- Consistent Marketing - To become the queen of marketing, the key is 'consistency'. Lauch has lot of energy, what do not have energy, is somewhere down the line you have lost enthusiasm. Truth is keep marketing, result less. Marketing is not about selling. Don't limit yourself with your product or ideas. Sit and decide on your monthly calendar.
- Create a 'Wow Experience' - How can you make your client's experience unique? In time what you create wow now will become a best practise in your industry, and you will need to create a new one. Capture the feeling where you have had a wow feeling and recreate it in your business.
- Grab the Customer's Attention - Today all are fighting for attention. So untill you create your wow, your business will not survive. It's very important to catch your customers attention - through the extra delivery, though your words or deeds. Its absolutely essential and is a commodity today.
- Genuine Care - In the busy world today, if you show a little care, you will create loyal customer. Trouble feels half, when people are received with genuine care. Today this is the currency. Use it to make your customers, loyal and long term.
- Get Feedback - At the end of every interaction, take feedback, and make difference to your business. Get into the details of delivering your best. In the details is your wow. Make people feel that you are working on the feedback.
- Journey of Customer Experience - Before , during and after - customer experience is good, but there is also after-after - making sure that the client is actually been taken care. Think of a way, that you can touch your client, long after they have left you.
- Explore your USP - When customer see us in our authentic self, it will help. Work on your quality. Steve jobs - innovation. Bill Gates - Help. Opera - Care and concern. Authentic, real - is how the customer experience should be, that is what you will be.
