5 am club - Day 5 – Decluttering

 


1.       MSO – Mind, Space, Objects

2.       Life Style – Minimalistic, Materialistic, Middle path

3.       When somethings at home is not working, does it effect your mind? – Operating things help flow energy.  Whatever is at home, keep it good and with energy flowing. Throw away what is not needed, It is a therapy also. When you have less things, less cleaning is needed, less time is needed for cleaning, you become financially disciplined. If you have kept aside all things used since childhood – keep one or two things for memory – give away others. Keep important things you need in a bag, which you need to take with you in case of emergency.

4.       Emergency needs – Valuable and certificates, jewels, laptops, govt. proofs, medicines, laptops, mobile and chargers.

5.       When elements around you are working, energy is more; it will be easy to find things. Be organised.  Important documents – scan and keep a copy with you.

6.       How you do anything is how you do everything. Do you complete things or leave things half way? For some discontinuity halfway is a habit.

7.       Take care of Useful things. It reflects your personality.

8.       Start with your bag – ensure laptop bag only has laptop ; do you keep unnecessary documents in there? How’s your seating space – Keep it inspiring. Wardrobe. – You will have control over life, if you are organised. It will be a personality booster and give you confidence.  Apps in mobile.

9.       Aerometer – Old newspapers used to keep things. It has negative news as well, which spreads around the house. Donate books you do not want to revisit. NU – No use items – cashify app – buy old items.

10.   Select 4 items:

a.       Things that no one can use – put it in trash;

b.       working condition you don’t need others can use – give away to who need;

c.       needed things – keep it organised;

d.       Relocate things.

Our mind - We speak about the war going outside, biggest war is the one going on inside your mind. Most important person is you. Prioritise and declutter it.

11.   Listening to song, cleaning is a therapy.

12.   Judgement mentality. What we want we are unable to do, fights because of over expectation, overanalyses, over judgement. When more than one people come together – it’s different personalities, coming from different background. So completely adjusting is difficult. If you understand this, you will be able to adjust. Have courage to go and speak to the people with whom you have differences. Have less expectation and more understanding. Listen. Women want to be listened to – so they normally go to mother or sister. Understanding plays a great role.  Some fights can be won even without fighting.

13.   Smoking and drinking habits, are personal habits. But addictions. People begin for fun, but then feel this is a solution for all problem.

14.   Digital addiction – Who should be smart – you or your mobile? Let Swiggy, ola, FB not decide what you want. Notifications – disable them. Phone keep in silent mode.
